TBH, that's a MUST for every dual card setup, keeping an eye out to scaling is another must.
What's the point of having 2 cards if you can't even know if they are working as they should be Laughing

Very true, MSI Afterburner (or anything similar built off RivaTuner) is a must. Scaling can be a bit tricky as some games are CPU-limited depending on the setup and one's settings, especially in SLI. Then again it's also an indication of poor optimization when scaling tanks in dual-GPU mode (which can be memory-related rarely, but Afterburner helps there, too).

Odd benchmark results.

Since crossfire ain't working yet for this title, i'm running on 1 card. my fps is average around 34, never saw it drop below 30 (not like they report 25)

Not working in what sense? I'm running dual 6850s (with CrossFire on in CCC), and not getting anything below 30 (as a visual guess... I'm not running FRAPS or anything to check it). I do notice some dips here and there, and I've not played it a lot, but certainly not terrible performance.

lol?

Yeah, I guess it's not dropping below 30, because I played Mass Effect 3, and the frame-rate drops below 30 were bloody obvious. Smile

Also, yes, I got what you meant about CrossFire not working properly just after I posted, but forgot to go back and edit (since we've had this discussion before on the Skyrim thread, I think).

what a terrible game. even if it wouldnt stutter it would be frustrating to play this game. it is nowhere near the original most wanted! it is the same as burnout paradise which was also frustrating, you have to check your map the whole time otherwise you go the wrong way but if you look at the map you will crash. it is also impossible to shake off the police so some game modes are impossible to play. this is a big dissapointment after hot pursuit 2010 which not only have better gameplay but also better graphics!

Well, since the humps are now indexed by Google, you can prolly do it here. Or the EA forums. Either way, they don't care Laughing.

if they fixed performance and terrible handling it would be a better game, but getting a patch for PC version seems almost impossible. i checked out "official" forum and it's a joke. there's 0 communication from the devs. they are probably busy on DLCs that will never come out of PC in a typical NFS PC fashion Laughing
well, i'm not sure why do i even care about this game. I have forza horizon, which is better than this crap in every single aspect.

Microsoft XBOX 360 and Logitech RumblePad2 controller no longer start vibrating after finishing a Speedlist, even when having the vibration mode off
Certain button bindings are no longer being forgotten after restarting the game
The game is now syncing properly again after Origin was switched between Online and Offline mode a few times
The HUD no longer disappears when editing license plates under some circumstances
Everyone who pre-ordered Need for Speed Most Wanted should now have access to the bonus content in-game
The game no longer hangs on the loading screen whilst accepting an invite under some circumstances
The game should now uninstall properly without leaving certain .dll files behind

http://answers.ea.com/t5/Need-for-Speed-Most-Wanted/Patch-notes-PC-Patch-1-Nov-5th-2012/m-p/176092

So that's what that patch released two days ago or so actually did.

I'm quite curious too, but I already know that I'll end up being disappointed. Years of GTR2, Rfactor and the likes have spoiled me Laughing

It's just a shame that the there even has to be a divide Sad PC is "sim!" and Consoles are "arcade!" -- why can't we have both? I see no reason why GTR2 shouldn't be on the 360 and I see no reason why Forza shouldn't be on the PC too. I'd have loved to have Ridge Racer on the PC, instead of that Bugbear piece of blasphemous shite Mad

Simbin tried to bring something GTR-ish to the consoles with Race Pro, but apparently the sales were terrible Razz. I agree though, a game like Forza would be perfect on PC, if only because of the career mode.
