My friend got himself a March 2012 X360S model around 3-4 months back, which he was told by his modder, that it couldn't be RGH'd as it had the Corona motherboard. His dashboard version is 13604 I think. Can this be RGH'd now?

Question for you guys - if I bought a 4gb slim and then got it RGH'd - would the 4gb hinder me? I assume I can just play games from an external hard drive - but would I fill up the 4gb with saves etc? If so, can I make the machine use the external hard drive instead of the 4gb internals?

Sweet, so it sounds like if I have a spare external drive, I could just get the 4gb, other wise get the 256 and store my games on there.
Another question - are all slims currently glitchable?

Also all slims can be glitched and that too till latest dashboard but only with RGH 2.
Finally DLC do not work from external only internal.

Well to be precise they cannot be glitched yet.. when TX releases the new coolrunner 3 pro +their DGX addon then every slim can be glitched.. its not released to resellers but should be soon

Infact you can use your external drive as internal too provided you remove your internal HDD so in case console can't find internal it takes whatever drive is attached.
Someone correct me here

If I have 360 Slim and want to play the ISODemo versions of games do I have to do some hardware changes in it or some of that silly USB things really works?

heh what the heck are ISODemo's ? if you want to play demo's you can download them from xbox live.. if you want to play the full games from hardisk you need to apply rgh to your console if you haven't soldered before its wise to let someone do it with experience.

 ISOdemo = full game ( pirated ) , frequently used in the PC Games Arena..demos on the PC are very rarely rlsed and many ppl are sometimes annoyed by that , so we have ISOdemos..before buying the game , sometimes it ends up to be free.   |

I don't have RGH yet but wanted to install it. So question is if I'm not on RGH yet and I update to 15574 will I be able to get RGH at a later date?

when fakelive or autofake was enabled. If you intend a keyvault to not get banned,
do not use it on a glitch/jtag machine!

A couple of questions before I update every single thing on the 360. I'm currently on 14179 kernel, with DL 2.32 and FSD 2.2.725.
Since Rogero hasn't released his 360 Multi Builder app, which I found the most easiest for NAND building, I'll have to make do with xeBuild 2.086.
1.) I have heard it's best to build the image without Dashlaunch integrated. So I'm planning to install DL 3.04 in advance. How do I uninstall my old DL and install the new DL?
2.) in xeBuild, Which option do I select in 'Build Type'? ECC RGH 1 or Freeboot RGH1? What's the difference?
3.) Is it worth updating to the latest Freestyle dashboard? Any noteworthy enhancements?

1. You dont uninstall DL if its below 3.02 you just delete the launch.ini > 3.02 has a uninstall (It has a GUI too)
2. Freeboot RGH 1
3. Get to play newer games and that new Internet Explorer

Why don't you use Jrunner ? its the most easy app out there. its so easy that I am not to lazy to give you the instructions..
download newest jrunner (0.2 Beta 283) unpack it then start it it will check if its up to date.
1 select your nand image with clicking on the button near the text source file.
2 copy and past your cpu key in the cpu key dialog box if correct it says cpu key correct
3 click add dash then select the newest dash 16179
4 select dash launch patches and select glitch
5 press the create image button
6 jrunner will say image created its safed at this locataion put the updflash.bin on a usb stick and power the console on with the dvd player eject button it will update now ,do not power down the console until xell tells you
Jrunner will select automaticly the rgh1 or rgh2 it can see what you need form your nand dump.

Best thing to do would be to swap out the 4GB for a 256GB drive anyhow, though your external will handle all your games if you don't want to do that. Oh and yes - they very much detect and ban from Live for JTAG/RGH machines, you'll be lucky to get a few minutes worth of access before having your machine banned.
