possibly, or perhaps got his ip address and contacted the isp.
The filehost he was also uploading to might also have ratted him out.

Still not convinced. I could announce I was going to upload BOII, when in fact it was a 12Gb video of me taking a dump named Black Ops II, and Activision's lawyers would still send me a C&D.
Did anyone actually get the eboot from the same uploader and open it up? Maybe I'd be swayed if that was authentic, but as of right now, no.

i'm fairly certain it was legit. If you got the game/media ID from the one he was uploading i'm sure you can compare it to the real one of the same region.

Unbelievable.... while a PS3 release of this is nowhere to be found on torrents or newsgroups, there are already modified eboots floating around to give you various cheats.
Never let it be said that the PS3 scene isn't as dysfunctional as it's always been.

Hmm perhaps not. I really enjoyed the first Black Ops game. I have no interest in multiplayer so hope to blitz through the single player campaign and trade it in, unless 'Zombies' is totally awesome.

But if you really enjoyed the first game, surely you don't need an incentive to play the second game.I'm only waiting for the ps3 version so i can switch between online and single player. I'm no no hurry.

lol @ the dumb asses who paid a shit load amount for the game to get it early, I have seen auctions on eBay for over $500 to get the game early. The fact that the servers are down makes it a waste of a purchase because the only reason people want the game early and paid so much to get it early was to rank up as fast as possible to be way ahead of everyone else.
I will laugh my ass off if they decide to not even turn the servers on until Monday night, that would really screw the people who spent so much. Spend $500+ to play vs Bots offline = LOL
And WTF no PS3 version yet? Slow ass PS3 scene.

I don't understand why the hate about it. I had it sitting on my HDD for a while and didnt want to try it because people were bashing it. Sure it's the same as Blops 1, but come on, blops 1 was good.
And that horse shit level is fun, it remembers me uncharted 3
Honestly even though the textures are blurry as hell, the game is fine. What is funny is the PC section is bashing it even more, but I bet you they will leech it and finish the SP campaign ASAP

Haha man you guys weren't kidding about the "been there, done that" feel to this game. How many more times can they send a helicopter at us and just happen to have AA weapons nearby to shoot at it with?
