Thats sometimes annoying in this game that the map is mis-leading about how to find or reach mission goal areas. Sometimes it seems that you have to go through certain doors or narrow corridors, but its blocked and you have to find out that the way to reach the area is completely different.
One thing that I really like about this game and that imo sets it apart from most similar games is how it gives you real incentive for doing every single quest, no matter how stupid, simple, or meaningless story-wise it might be. Way to make a game effectively content-rich.
Am I wrong or are "yellow/orange"(unique) items far more rare than in Borderlands 1 ? I remember in Borderlands 1 I got at least already 4 yellow ones with Level 20, sometimes you could even buy yellow items at the "merchant-machines". In Boderlands 2 I am Level 25 now and found only one yellow item dropped by a weird enemy (not the one from the chest in the city of Sanctuary) - a yellow shotgun and at the merchant-machines you can hardly find blue ones and no purple ones at all.
itemization and overall drop (rates, quality) is way below what it was in BL1. In BL2, you find the same weapons from lvl 1 to level 50 over and over again. Almost no randomization, static stats that only change because of the level. You hardly ever find anything above green/blue when playing alone, unless you use a hack (changing number of players . ie difficulty setting).
BL3 has it easy, just add the gameplay (good story, etc) from BL2 and add the loot and itemization from BL1 and its gold.
Game just updated on Steam. Looking for patch notes.
EDIT: found them.

Did anyone else receive like 10 golden keys with the patch?
I had the initial gold key and no further since I haven't actually bought it yet. Waiting for a GOTY version to get everything together like I did with B1
