i definitely wont be playing it on ps3, as far as i can remember the ps3 version of 4 ran at an average of 20-23 fps, fuck that...

Well I only have the PS3, with no desire to get a 360 at all, even if the multi platform games typically run better on that 
Just nothing on that console that remotely interests me except for Forza. At least the PS3 has a few exclusives that are worth it to me (or seem that they will be, points at The Last of Us).

well, you are right about that, i have both so i play all the multiplatform games on 360.
if i had to choose one though, i would go for ps3 because the exclusives are soooo much better (especially including some of my beloved series like ratchet and clank, yakuza, uncharted).

back then ps2 exclusives were all about game play. ratchet was pretty much one of the best series ever on that system. ps3 exclusives are more about gfx and loose controls. it bothers me. so much polish goes into making them look so god damn amazing (and apart from the button mashing god of war/and super realistic car simulator 5) every other exclusive i played has these loose controls. HR, UC series, fuck i don't even remember what i own. 
gta5 will run best on xbox tho. so if you want to play a big ass poorly optimized game... get it on xbawx. unless they got their shit together like their did with max payne.

Well I would assume that GTA5 at the very least uses the RAGE version that was used for MP3, if not an even further developed one.
We'll see eventually

I think it's a mix of different factors, the first one being that we're still the minority when it comes to a mainstream game like GTA, and also because console games are generally more expensive, bringing more revenue.
That said, the fact that they're (once again) treating us like 3rd class citizens is very annoying. But they hold the whip hand, so all we have to do is deal with it  |

Reason why GTAV isn't coming out on the PC at the same time is simple.All the focus needs to be drawn on the consoles,if the PC version would come out in the same time, the marketing strategy would bump heads " I know,they pirate the console versions too but the main profit is usually made from the Xbox & PS " + the PC version needs more time to be polished and optimized (since it features a hell lot more settings and improved visuals ) and we can't do that along the consoles in the same time-frame IF you want the game to be launched on consoles in spring and you don't want to wait until the end of 2k13 to be launched on all platforms.

i am sure it's not the employees fault ZNP, it's rockstar that doesn't give the PC version it's own team to work simultaneously with the console guys, really appreciate the honesty though ZNP.

Fair enough, sounds reasonable 
I only hope that the time spent to optimize the game won't bring the same results as GTA IV.
But would be foolish to make the same mistakes twice methinks, especially after the great job with MP3. We just need to be reassured, that's it.

Are they developing it or outsourcing it (if so to whom)?
Anything that the PC version has that's not included on the derpsole ones, etc.
Unless they haven't even begun working on it, which is a great sign (GTAIV all over again ).
Didn't we get some proper info about the PC version of Max Payne 3 well before its launch? |
