It runs really nice for me... 60fps locked. Played so far 1 hour of MP and game feels better than MW3.

Anyone else getting "Black Ops 2 has stopped working" immediately after launching the game?

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Don't get me wrong, it's not even remotely close to a goty contender, but the best FPS SP campaign? Sure.

Does it actually turn into a proper game later on?
I did the first three missions and it felt like I had no control over anything that was going on.

From all the videos I have seen of this game, The guns literally have no recoil and sound the same, I don't know how can a developer be so lazy and keep rehashing the same old game with more dumbed down mechanics which surprisingly appeals to so many fukking retards. its really is a sad state of gaming affairs. Oh well who gives a fuck.

I agree with you the game is a mindless fun its just not worth the high price.

It's like the junk food of gaming industry's its not healthy or too sophisticated but it doesn't mean you can't enjoy a snack from time to time Wink

Sorry, I don't usually follow this type of games, but seeing that it is receiving some praise, I'd like to ask two questions about the singleplayer campaign:
1) are there any RPG mechanics/elements?
2) any form of specialization/customization?

I dont consider myself a COD fan but I always enjoyed the COD single player campaigns (especially the Infinity Ward ones). The COD MP is a different story, I never got into it and never go near it (except for COD2 MP which was fucking awesome back in the day)

MW3's campaign was epic. It made BF3 single player campaign feel like an empty pile of shit. So I am actually looking forward to BO2 campaign Smile

PS. I am strictly talking about the single player campaign here Laughing

60 dollar for only the single player campaign that lasts 4-5 hours? God why.

I don't think it's an FPS.. But even if it was, Borderlands 2 would be much better as contender for best FPS SP. BLOPS2 is just another military shooter, bit like Moorhuhn with terrorists. Smile But yeah it's way better than MOHW for sure, because I can at least play this without quitting after first 5 minutes.

Oh and btw. look at this beautiful derp of field:

to ones who bought original version:

- hows multiplayer servers in terms of lag/connectivity and other issues? black ops had initialy some serious server/optimalization problems but bo2 seems to be runing great (i`m playing singeplayer on skidrow rls atm)

- if i already have iso downloaded can i somehow use it play it using org cdkey or will i need to download whole game again via steam?

played a bit more, visuals getting better. first two missions were awful. so far one of the better if not the best sp campaign of the newer cods (but most of them are not hard to beat Very Happy )

@remyleblau: just activate your key in steam, start download. cancel it, close steam, copy the "isodemofolder" (better without cracked exes) to your steam directory. start steam, verify codbo2 gamefiles. steam will download a few files and then youre good to go

I can say i'm impressed by the graphics considering the old engine it uses dates back to quake3. Not bf3 material but not that bad either.

Nice surprise.

Gameplay wise it's cod all over again so nothing special there.

- I'm getting in game super fast, there is no lag and almost all players are with full connection bar. I've played for around 4 hours, no connection lost or any issue. The game is stable and running very well. It's also looking much better than MW3 (yeah, there are some low-res textures, but everything else is fine.)

- You can create a new folder in steam/common. Name it "Call of Duty Black Ops II", then move the game files (except the cracked content) in it. Steam will download teh missing files.

No offence, but I'd wait for someone a little less biased if you're looking for impressions about the game. SteamDRM will state the game is perfect even if it was raping his mother. Wait for Aeon, or anyone else that bought it, to give their impressions.

Repost?

Quote:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 PC disc 2 is, for some, Mass Effect 2

Some who have bought the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have found the second disc is not home to the Treyarch shooter.

They have found that, instead, it is home to BioWare's science fiction role-playing shooter Mass Effect 2.

Gamers on Reddit, the Steam forum and the Call of Duty forum have reported the issue and complained that they are unable to complete the installation process as a result.

The cause is unknown, but it's clear that something went wrong somewhere along the production line.

The error will be a particular embarrassment to Activision. EA is of course its bitter publishing rival, and the two companies have been at loggerheads in recent years over former Call of Duty developers Jason West and Vince Zampella, now at EA working on an unannounced game.

Eurogamer has contacted Activision UK for comment.
