How do you remove the 60fps cap? The options settings isn't working

I don`t know whats going on, but i use the first Skid-crack, set my clock to china and its working perfectly. Im about half-way.

Great free-to-play game Laughing

Timechange: i think it has something to do with the "sync every frame" setting. I couldn`t set the cap to 60 when it was on. When i turned it off i could adjust the option but it gave me horrible screen-tearing.

I'd replace FXAA with SMAA any day. Much less blurry.
Guess you could otherwise "fix" it with LOD Bias though. Never tried LOD Bias + FXAA tho, only SGSSAA + LOD Bias (Dishonored).

I made a direct comparison now:
4xMSAA
4xMSAA+SMAA

I was wrong, SMAA does not seem to blur the image noticeably.
You can see a pretty big jaggie difference on the truck.

Its not possible to use sweetfx and d3doverrider at the same time and I'll take triple buffering over AA anytime.
Could someboy post a screen with the correct nvidia inspector settings please?
I tried forcing AA using default flags and compatibility and it doesnt do anything.

As expected the SweetFX considerably improves the visuals:

Now if only there was something to improve the gameplay..

Still, despite everything, it's somewhat playable. At least it's not as abysmal as Warfighter which literally disgusted me. Razz

Nevermind I got it.

New problem, how do you remove the auto-aim?

Anyone else getting black lines on some textures?
It looks like a wireframe.
I also tried installing the 310.54 beta drivers but they completely messed up the graphics so I had to rollback to whql. I bet they forgot to test it on dx10 cards..

Just got up to the first future mission and omfg the campaign is FUCKING AWESOME! Very Happy Say what you will about COD, but the SP campaign always delivers

On a side note, if anybody with SLI is experiencing low GPU usage, use the following profile:

Found this on the nvidia forum. It fixed my GPU usage Smile

I've played 4-5 additional missions and I've very tempted to uninstall this piece of shit. I'd just hate to not finish a game that I started, it's not my style. I'm gonna endure for now Razz

man did this feel crappy. Only played a bit of singleplayer but howt damn am I done with this series. It felt like i was playing something a decade old.

After the very minute difference between ultra and low settings in moh: warfighter I wanted to do see how it was for CoD. In stark contrast to moh, this game has a huge difference between ultra and low settings.
see here for an example:

I'm not someone to never admit a single good thing in a game that I (strongly) dislike. This one has quality music, mostly. Graphics show an outstanding effort to get the most out of a very old engine, and the story isn't half bad for my taste. But, pretty much everything else is clumsy, uninteresting and boring as hell. Sound is a joke, volume goes down and up depending if you're playing or watching a cutscene. The gameplay is so bad that all the good things mentioned above don't get remotely close to making up for it.

After this one I'm also done downloading and playing COD games for the singleplayer.

When is it supposed to crash?
I'm only at mission 2 and so far everything is working fine.

These black lines...they are caused by the in-game MSAA, when I disable it they go away.
Somebody else must have encountered the same for sure? I guess its a dx10 problem, my card is a gtx 275.

Triple buffering also works now, it suddenly kicks in after minimizing/re-entering the game, no clue whats up with that.
