looking forward to play it, got the complete editon when it was like at 2,5 usd , but ill wait until i can get a new vga, and finish other games im currently on.
the game,in spain,is 20€/$ now...the PC's complete ediition i mean eh..
For that price..is it worth?,is it long?,anything i should know?.....entertaining n stuff?...
Also,does the latest patches includes the black bar removal and +60FPS fixes?..

i downloaded the game in the end to try it out...SKIDROW version..then installed the RELOADED update (1.3.1263 whatevr) and cracked it...ok,the game works at 1920x1080 120hz (love ya,BenQ X2410T whatever) but the screen is...smaller,not filling the entire monitor?...i even set the game to 1920x1080 120hz in the game settings on the desktop version but still NOTHING
I've seen a 60FPS unlocker and an Aspect Ratio fix (16:9) ...but whenever i apply the crack related to the 60FPS and 16:9 to the game's follder,overwritting it,whenever i launch the game and press Start (still in windows 7) it shows an error message..
Is there a way to do 60FPS+ARatio with the latest update...or...?

What do you mean "not filling the entire monitor"?Black bars of up and down of the monitor?YOu shouldn have them.1920x1080 is 16:9,on this res you should not have black bars.Only on 16:10 ,4:3 and 5:4.
About 60fps fix-i read that there is a solution for latest update(in fact solution that did not depend from game version ).
imo the best way to play with unlocked fps is to get theta update L.A.Noire.The.Complete.Edition.v1.2.2610.1.update.cracked.READ.NFO-THETA
and then use -fps60 command line (it only works with THETA release)
sorry,the game fills the entire screen now..maybe it's because the settings got resetted?,well,fixed it by re-saving to 1920x1080 120hz..game runs great for now..30FPS though,but everything set on "Quality" and i dont see any framedrops..and no blackbars (yep,you were right but again my fault back there)
OK,i've tried to overwrite the exe with the 16:9 crack folder for 60FPS,wich's the same i got and mentioned before,and BAAAAAAAAAAAM,"NO WAY,DV!"...yep,error again..
Might try the hex editor thing later,but now...gotta restart after uninstall ...FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU

So I just started playing this game and really enjoying it, sure it's a bit repetitive (only on case 8 or 9 or so) but they don't call them procedurals for nothing. Playing it over a longer period of time instead of zerging through the cases in like 2-3 days would likely help with that.
I think what I like the most tho is the music / voice acting along with the faces, seems really well done. Sometimes it looks a bit strange/blurred and the hair is awful but still, pretty nice.

same here. i was hooked on the atmosphere of the time period, amazing acting and voice overs and the cases. i really got into being the lead guy. it was just so well done, even though there wasn't any real gameplay besides the dialogue adventuring.
Thanks for sharing, liked it quite a lot. It's nice affirming what I've already suspected - the game recreates L.A. of the era quite faithfully. Yeah, some stuff they did wrong, but it's insignificant. It's exciting that games this days allow us a faithful reconstruction of places and times we would never otherwise be able to visit ourselves.

While I'd rather have the IP stay at Team Bondi (them making the first game and all), I don't think Rockstar is a bad alternative. They create beautiful worlds, I can imagine them making good job on Noire 2.
Well, The Whore of The Orient is in development. The new city star is the Shanghai of the 30's. Curious if they'll manage to give the same feel of the era that the game is set in. They pulled that for LA,but for Shanghai there is not much of documentation.
