No.

So I don't get the hate bandwagon about this game, because in the end, every year, people end up playing it, leeching it, and finishing it... Because there is nothing else to play...

MoH ? nope
Crysis 2 ? Come on...
BF 3 campaign ? ahahah
Doom 3 BFG Edition ? Actually, Doom 1 & 2 FTW Very Happy

The story and the music are pretty much the only elements I'm "enjoying" atm. Sadly they're not good enough to "redeem" the game with its profoundly derp gameplay.

My thoughts as well, the gameplay is so old and formulaic than any attempt to embellish it with captivating music, "intricate" story and even more explosions because moar are pathetic to say the least...

The Raul Menendez part was absolutely hilarious, and not in a good way Sad Laughing

What about Crysis 2? I personally think it's better.

I couldn't handle how awesome singleplayer is, so after 2 hours I unninstalled singleplayer part of the game from Steam Smile

Multiplayer is know like this: put laser on your favorite SMG and hipfire everyone from 100m and win. Let's hope Treyarch will nerf this shit. It is better to hipfire smg than shoot with ADS... What the fuck, srsly...

Yes. Borderlands 2.

This. And The Darkness 2 , or hell even Syndicate (and perhaps also the new Painkiller that came out recently? Haven't had a chance to play it yet). But it's sad, because there's truly lack of (good) singleplayer fps games Sad

In terms of multiplayer there's Planetside 2, Tribes Ascend and of course CS:GO.

These are all better at what they do than BLOPS2. I don't think BLOPS2 is a bad game, by the looks of it it's better than MW3, and certainly takes a spot as a best military shooter of the year.

You see the "twist" coming away for a trillion miles away, but so far I have to admit: I'm really REALLY liking the campaign.

Easily the best since MW1 for a CoD game and finally it performs as it should, steady 60fps with only a couple of hitches due to checkpoint saving so far.

No offence, but why don't you learn to help yourself once in a while? You REALLY couldn't find the save games in the game folder? Neutral

F:\Games\Call of Duty Black Ops II\players

Effortless.

This is exactly what I meant (and I 100% agree with you and 4treyu).

The fact that BLOPS2 is the best military shooter of the year means nothing, since it's like winning the paralympics.

Correct. The 3DM crack pretty much overwrites SKIDROW's, so the result of the aforementioned pile of overwritings is pretty much the 3DM crack plus GabensWrath.dll and SKIDROW's pointless t6mp.exe.

Maybe I should try re-applying the timezonefix, since that had a version of steam_api.dll 3DM's stuff overwrote...

EDIT: Bingo, pig! That seems to work. For now.

Quote:
Resolution parity returned with Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 3, but this has changed once again with Black Ops 2; native resolution is now 880x720 on Xbox 360 with 2x MSAA. It may sound somewhat on the low side, but kudos to Treyarch here - the upscaling algorithm is remarkably refined when viewed in motion. The overall impression is that this is the crispest COD we've seen on 360. As you'll see in the comparison viewer below, the upscaled image generally compares quite well with the PC version running at native res.

Things aren't quite so impressive on PS3, however. Base resolution does indeed appear to be a very close match, with our pixel count resolving a marginally lower 864x720 image. It's impossible to overlook the aggressive blur applied over the top of the image though, resulting from what appears to be a new post-process anti-aliasing technique for the studio.

Welp, I guess it beats me playing at 800x600 in the 90s.

The resolution numbers don't tell the whole story. Even though the native resolution of both console versions is similar, the X360 version uses MSAA while the PS3 version uses blur. Make sure you are sitting and not eating or drinking when you open the spoiler.

But guys I think it's an impressive accomplishment that consoles (X360 namely) can handle Q3 engine at steady 60 fps.

Not on my PC. Lots of scenes have low framerate. Sure I play with everything on max, but still it's not like it has any super advanced options I enabled.

Thankfully BO1's stuttering is gone.

I hate this game. Laughing
