Yeah, but he admits he knows nothing about games, rather than being an obnoxious asshole who thinks Gears of Boredom are the pinnacle of human achievment.

I did a similar experiment with my father (who barely knows how to turn on a PC) making him play Hard Reset. His first impact with the mouse controls was like
Hehe.
Most fathers are gaming noobs, but mine is extra special. He saw me playing Battlefield one day, and he was bored so I asked him if he'd like to try it. Bear in mind he's never played a FPS in his life, or used the kb and mouse at the same time.
About 2 hours later when I came home I found him sniper camping on Kharg Island
He said he couldn't be bothered to run after other players, so he apparently set up a base in the hills and then typed his location in the chat. And then just shot anyone dumb enough to go there.
I had to explain to him why everyone was calling him a cemping feggot. To which he replied:"Son, in a real war, everybody is a cemping feggot. It's the best way to survive"

There is a walkthrough vid on youtube on xbox where he plays the first 4 missions or so. I could't resist watching it all . But it looked great. The guy played it pretty good too. I can link to it if anyone wants to see it, too lazy to search for it to post it randomly.
I fucking love boxes. I will never buy a game unless I get the box (unless its a game like CS:GO which doesnt have a box). Otherwise I will just download it for free
If I pay for it, it better be tangible!

I just finished Blood Money. What an epic ending! Now I understand why 47 is going for Diana in Absolution, I just hope he believes her when she explains (if she has the chance to explain that is ).
In the meantime I'm gonna have some fun with this "Sniper Challenge".

Hitman Absolution New Gameplay Interview! Adam Sessler Talks to Game Director Tore Blystad
Decent game man. One of the few that i just stop judging and criticizing aspects of it and just sit and enjoy playing, maybe think of what i could have done differently and replay it on harder difficulties.
Well the guy from IO in that video says Purist mode is especially made for the people whose favourite game is Codename 47, and that "Purist" is even harder than that game. I think I'll be playing on Expert like all the previous titles and maybe try Purist afterwards
I think the Purist mode is so difficult since it disables instinct completely and from how I understood it also the HUD itself but I don't know if they've added further AI enhancements like reaction time and aim on top of that, don't have the game myself so I can't check until the PC version arrives.
Well I certainly plan to play without that "instinct" stuff, and I'm not concerned about the AI's aim as I'm not supposed to be engaging in shootings, with very few exceptions. We'll see about the HUD thing when the game is here.
" Purist Mode is a difficulty level for Hitman: Absolution that will remove HUD elements - such as the number of bullets in a clip - as well as disable the 'Instinct' abilities that Agent 47 now has. "
