I think by now we understand the game is getting mixed reviews and that isn't gonna change anymore at this point. A good half like it, another good half don't like it (maybe a few reviews in between but not many of them).
Now, this is a personal view, but what I've noticed is that most of the negative reviews come from players that favour the violent approach. Including the RPS one.
I dont really get the hate. Its a good game, sure that ringfight was ridiculous but you shouldnt just pick the silly stuff to push your irrational hate agenda. I played Absolution, i played the old Hitman games. This is as good as a you will ever get considering the streamlining time we're in. And just because you CAN go COD style in this game, doesnt mean you have to. You could wreak havoc in the old games too, remember?

Don't worry pre-emptive hate doesn't really belong in this thread (except for first pages after the announcement, and right after the Nuns trailer ).. post-release hate on the other hand...but it's too early to tell. In the meantime, I'm 'just' quite hyped. (and damn curious!)

Games like DE Human Revolution prove that you can still honor the source material and make a deep gameplay experience with few if any compromises.
I hope this game does the same, but the goofiness and the ridiculous situations that are being referred to in the reviews don´t make me very excited.
I think it's easier and faster for you to get tor and set it up with ExitNodes {au} + StrictExitNodes 1 combined with ProxyCap/Proxifier to route steam.exe traffic through tor (as explained here).
Anyway that's what I did when I needed to unlock the last game I got on steam early (I think that was DXHR). But stil it should work even now

There wasn't any other way to complete the mission, though. You had to go loud.
