They unlock better skills so to say. Stuff like less instinct consuming,better throwing,rate of fire etc.

Since there's only 3 hours to go, it's not that essential -- but usually you'd sign up for a free trial on a VPN site (such as: http://incloak.com/demo/ ), install OpenVPN, copy inCloak's VPN settings into your config folder and then choose to connect to which region you wish. Restart Steam... et voila! Launch and activate the game, then either stay on VPN to keep playing or switch to offline mode.
Which, by the way Vaifan, I can confirm works a charm for Hitman. I VPNed, activated/unlocked, switched to Offline, closed VPN, relaunched Steam and the game is still playable.
I ran the benchmark with Ultra settings, no MSAA, Vsync/Tessellation enabled, and I get 44 minimum, 60 maximum, 52 average at 1680x1050. Not terrible... not great. Lowering Shadow Quality from Ultra to High, and setting SSAO from High to Normal >> 50 minimum, 60 maximum, 58 average. Much better.

choose that you have a router and you can use given settings to use the builtin windows vpn
