Bah,
Fingers crossed for a decent PC version, with how Max Payne 3 turned out, I have hope for this.
GTA4 on PC still makes me shutter till this day.

yeah. now it runs perfect but then... oh god.
And that mouse spring. Is there a fix for gtaIV mouse looks spring ?
Max Payne3 turned out fantastic on pc. Don't look like port at all. The only thing bad about it is the stupid shit rockstar club etc

Up for consideration- prepare for a port 6-9 months after X360/PS3.
Remember, every major GTA was released on PC, and the advertisement slogan for the PC version of GTA IV was "GTA comes back to the platform it was born on".

Is it just me, or have gaming sites and fans voiced their demand for a PC version a lot stronger than they have for GTA4?
I don't remember Rockstar talking about a PC port of GTA4 at all until a few months past the console release.

I think that's because GTA4 on the PC was pretty much a given, seeing as how all the previous titles (PSP "Episodes" not withstanding) appeared on PC. Now the cry for GTA V on PC is so strong because Rockstar ignored the PC when it came to RDR.

But seriously, it's just the typical gibberish to sell more PS360 copies, nothing new under the sun. If by any chance they won't release it for PC, expect some genuine Michael Bay-ish action at the R* offices

I don't understand why they would want to sell more copies on consoles and risk losing sells on PC? Don't Mircosoft and Sony get a cut from console sells?

I'm generally against anything that has to do with petitions, but I still think it's worth the 20 seconds it takes to fill this out:

If you're gonna whine about GTA V not coming out on PC at the same time as on consoles, at least TRY doing something about it - and this is the most simple way and it takes no time or energy from anyone.
Worst case scenario - you lose 20 seconds of your life, big fucking deal!
Best case scenario - they actually listen and release it on PC much sooner than expected. AND it may cause many more people to buy the PC version, showing them and other gaming companies that PC gaming is stil profitable.

At the end of the day, companies like RS and Ubi don't release PC games at the same time as consoles because of the perceived piracy problem (pirated copy = lost sale), and in their blinkered idea of reality, piracy isn't as bad on consoles as it is with us flithy PC people, so they delay the PC version to ensure noone can play the game until money has changed hands.
BTW I'm fully expecting GTAV to have a Pay-to-win system implemented - such as gun shops selling 'special weapons or ammo' for r$ - or Rockstar Bucks, purchasable ingame at any branch of Liberty Bank (or whatever they'll call it in this game) for real money - all cards and Paypal accepted.
