Just tried it maxed out, my god it looks good (safe to say its best looking game what i have seen). Also performance is very good (solid 60fps in the crowd at chinatown). Hell graphics looked sick even at medium settings on my laptop
Gotta love the conviction execute shit Fun game , even that its not Hitman anymore.
Which is still not what we talked about. No one complains about wallhack, but the Instinct in disguises.
No, that is not about instinct. That is about the disguise system being flawed. If they would fix that, you wouldnt even have to use instinct. Now instinct is used just because the disguise system is not working like it should.
I just redone some levels which turned into a real mess (mainly due to UberAI @Expert difficulty) with normal difficulty and ...
It is certainly not a good thing but I find the game much more enjoyable @Normal for now.
It is a free walk sometimes though.
But at least I am able to try to do other things than constantly hide and pray.
Hopefully their patch will "dumb" down IA slightly on professional difficulty or even better make them quick but not like they got hawk eyes.
I remember some page ago, I've read that the devs said they put cheating uberAI on Expert/purist mode so hardcore gamers will have a challenge.
But I didn't expect they went so crazy

@Interinactive
How to poison him without going to the room with sniper?
Probably awareness level is bigger in Hard mode because i tried like 20 times @ivan1real way and they always spot me. I screw the electric box right after i see the guard who is walking in front of me. Then sneak past the one who tries to fix it but when i try to distract the last one with the bottle one of the guard behind my back always spots me. No matter where i am.

Isn't that how you use the Fugue Fish remains - near one of the stalls near the pagoda itself - on that food bowl the "king" so often goes to and samples, it's only accessible by cooks but you can probably enter and leave quickly enough to finish both those tasks if you time it correctly with nearby chefs and guards.
Yeah that must be the place. Thanks will poison this spot later on then.
Now im too frustrated by the tries to sneak into the sniper room. In the end i started killing until they killed

I took the easy way in, basically waited until the dealer (You probably saw him earlier.) goes to talk with the boss guy and then he leaves, follow him to his little conveniently secluded area (Don't mind the security camera, seems it's just for show.) and deal with him how you prefer.
(You can then wander around mostly undisturbed, somehow the guards or even the boss himself don't seem to mind the obvious differences in character which is funny but also in line with the previous games to a degree.)
Spoiler:
Just don't go into the restricted "kitchen" areas and don't mess with the car, if you go to the pagoda deal with the boss quickly by leading him to the same area as the dealer and then get rid of him the same way too, he can get pretty impatient if you lead him on for too long.
(Easiest just to avoid the Pagoda until later or even entirely if you want a different outcome which is likely going to be far more rewarding.)

That's impressive. Does this include everything in both Display and Quality?
I have turned MSAA down to 2X, everything else on max. Then I get a 40 fps average.
Maybe it's better optimized for AMD cards?!?
And yes, it does look fucking gorgeous
So wait, how many actual mission are there when it comes to taking out targets?
I don't mean all the fluff where I have to get to a door but actual assassination missions.
Playing the first mission. In some ways the guards act more logically than before. They're not quite as trigger happy about minor breaches of conduct. Then again I just picked up the fire poker near the fireplace as a cook and instantly everybody draws a gun on me because I'm "armed".

Switch to contract mode damit, there are +50 000 already

I run on Ultra, but no MSAA and no DOF, @1080p
Game is smooth 40-60fps during gameplay, this with my poor i920+GTX570 combo.
MSAA is a no go though.

Thanks but that's not what I asked about.
It was a serious question because so far I've only killed Diana and the king of Chinatown. o.O
The rest 9 hours I've played is me hiding behind knee-high walls trying to figure out how to sneak by (was playing this on expert til I broke down and went normal mode).
Any1 else had problems with the "Hitman5 has stopped working" error on startup? Im running the Skidrow version, which seems to be legit, but the game crashes as soon as I run it.
Running Windows 8 x64 with latest NVIDIA drivers (tried stable and beta)... I can't run the game. I wouldn't call it a crash even, it just straight up doesn't start. Not even a black screen for a second.
Now, I'd love to go into more detail, but I'm not provided any. It shows up in TaskMgr for about a second before disappearing and that's all the feedback I get, short of my cursor turning into "loading" state.
Anyone else running into something similar? Even tried the POSTMORTEM release separately from the SKIDROW one.
Googling around provided this, and I've tried all the ham-fisted solutions to no avail:

I was serious too
The story doesn't match very well with Mr47 usual work as Hitman.
It would have been weird to have a list of contracts to do meanwhile the story goes on.
I know what you mean, if there weren't Contrats mode I think I would hate the game.
Sometimes I just want to go and kill some targets.
Also I switched to normal mode too, game is much more playable like an Hitman game like this.
