I've changed server from Miller to some other. And the lag is even worse.

Wow I don't know what to tell you. I've been playing on Connery which is a West US server and no lag whatsoever so far. And believe me when I tell you I'm the kind of player that gets quickly annoyed by the slightest amount of lag.

It's because the EU servers are managed by a shitty German television network, don't get it why Sony isn't publishing it over here...

I don't think that's the main reason. US had way more servers at launch, so population spread out more evenly. But even though SOE/ProSieben added new EU servers, most people except new just coming into the game won't even notice and they'll stay on Woodman/Miller.

Wish they would have just simply went with the instanced route. One big server, lots of instances. One fills up, a new one opens.

What? You cant be serious. There are always lag issues at any mmo launch. Give it some time. Instanced combat, especially for a game like this, is so fucking horrible

The only problem would be to keep track of the conquers for each instance, but it would allow the whole community to play together, changing instances in...an instant. Very Happy You wouldn't need to create a new character if your buddies started playing on another one, there would be no login queues (on which I'm waiting for 20 minutes now), etc.

So apart from the problem of tracking the over-all conquest for each instance, it would be so fucking great. Very Happy

Does anyone else experience a more and more severe framerate dip the longer they play? It also happens when flying OUT of major battles.

For example - staring at mountain on Esamir - 100 FPS solid. I fly into and back out of a major battle and return to the same spot I was in a minute ago, staring at that exact same piece of mountain. FPS is now halved to 50.

What the fuck is going on?

Gave up and just created the 'Humpinators' outfit on Miller. Look up 'Hmuda' if you feel like joining.

In the beta i connected to both US and EU (i'm from EU) and i had pretty much the same latency , it might not be the case now though

Played for a few seconds, and now game crashes to desktop, Game Error G12, Game Error G37

Guess will try later, but was able to create a characater EU Miller
Crashes at exactly 48% @ loading screen

Trust me login queues would exist at launch. Its LAUNCH if the problem persists in say 2-3 months then you definitely have a point. Not one that advocates instancing but just points out that they are shit at what they are doing. Its a world pvp environment for a reason.

To each his own but this game clearly wouldnt work as a guildwars clone

And let me say that wouldnt be the first for a sony online game Laughing

Am i missing something for seeing who is an enemy?
My side is no problem they have an arrow. Enemies I cant see until I point at them.
And seems people can tell Im enemy LONG before I can even notice them.

Was on a hill long way from the action, sniping alone, and get killed.
I could barely see the people in the battle, Im sure someone didnt go "Hmm let me stop fighting, and look at that random hill, to see if someone is poking out behind the rock" Razz

press Q to mark enemies with a red triangle and tell your friends to do the same. marked enemies show up on the minimap (along with having red triangles over their head) for all nearby allies.

however, if they are not marked, usually the differences in colour and silhouette used to be enough to (after some experience) tell who is an ally and who is an enemy at a glance, but now with the retarded camo patterns and armor variants, that kind of IFF is a lot harder.
