Has anyone got the "Silent Assassin" rating in "Personal Contract"? Only 1 checkpoint counts, but I can't get more than 34, 410 points ("Shadow").

I'm guessing it's impossible. :/ I loved that you could get the Silent Assassin rating in the tutorial mission of Blood Money.
Can only get enjoyment playing "blind" purist with no instinct by the way. Fucking radar, giant yellow arrows, messages like "hostile area", "suspicious", "visibly armed".
It just seems to me that the game isn't well balanced for playing without saves and wallhacks and what not. It's insanely unforgiving with the disguises. I think I'll just wait to see what they do with the patch, I'm not having much fun right now with eagle-eyes seeing through my disguises from miles away.
wow that hitman have some requiments. Main draw seems to be ssao. 10fps more on normal.

After playing for a bit more I am in awe.
The story is very engaging, the music sets the atmosphere right and graphics are very nice. It is a hitman game. But for the first time it feels like more than kill a target levels scenario.
Now it is that+ story with a feeling of progression.
The story was always decent but underexposed in hitman games. This is different. But because of that levels cant be an assassination theathers bu mostly places 47 is passing through etc. There are still a lot of options but all in all it feels easier than older games which were so hardcore.
The derp vision is derp but in fact... Gamers are not real hitmans with senses, so having this aid kinda.... Makes sense.
And the new dressing system is terrrrrrrible!

I gave it another shot on medium. This time disguise detection and guard coverage seemed a little more humane but now I could just shoot every cop in Chinatown and massacre my way through the mission. I think Mr. 47 tanked upwards from 100 hits total.
I'm not even using guns at all. I could do with a slightly reduced disguise detection radius, other than that I'm having a blast playing the true "Silent Assassin" (as opposed to the devs new SA concept ) just like in any of the previous Hitman games (expert mode)
Good amount of options on the "King of Chinatown" level. Huge spoilers and all:
Spoiler:
-Suit-only poisoning the coffee before the drug dealer shows up [sadly he disappears before coming around for the second time when the King actually drinks the coffee, even though nobody figures out that King is dead]. This is possible by distracting the guard that smokes with the bottle. The window of time is small, but it's possible.
-Poisoning the drugs, hiding in the locker at the drug dealer's place, and seeing the drug dealer panicking and saying something about "hopping a freighter" [might be possible for suit only, haven't tried distracting the two TV watching guards]
-Poisoning the dish, poisoning the coffee as the drug dealer
-When the King goes to take a piss, shoot the crane looking thing
-Knocking the King to Hell [alas guards get alarmed, haven't tried distraction, probably not possible due to the crowd]
-Waiting for the King and the dealer to come back to the apartment, and King to walk back to the pagoda. Using the sniper rifle, penetrate the dealer at close range and take out the King as well [usually for this challenge you can also just do it through the other window, but this is so awesome as well AND you can hide in time as far as I know]
-Distract the very first guard, distract the second guard to the left by the car (both by sprinting, not throwing bottles), while the first guard is walking to his post walk by him, the second guard should go up the stairs, take him out, distract the first guard so you can take him out behind the crates, dump both bodies in the garbage bin, drop the bomb, sound the alarm and see King whine and blow up [you can also wire him this way, come to think of it, another option is to wait in the crate and wire him while he is walking to the dealer's place, I'd like to see the dealer's reaction]
Also, try taking a gasoline can, dropping it where the dealer ends up (by the dumpsters) and shooting it, the crowd goes berserk, but they can't actually "escape". They just run into invisible walls where the "restricted" areas are.
So, all in all, very replay-friendly. All of the above I did on purist and with no instict (I cleared ctrl).
Here is how I got silent assassin in "King of Cinatown"

Attempt 1: At first I was picking up the poison, sabotaging the drug dealer's security guard's television, sneak past the guard and head upstairs and hide in the box and wait for the drug dealer to go outside and then poison the drugs in his apartment and watch the King die. The drug dealer then gets scared and leaves. But the problem was, there was no way to go back outside because the downstairs security was permanently watching tv uninterrupted. Not sure if it was a bug or not. But there was no way out of there. If you tried to sneak or run past him, hel spot you and start shooting.
Attempt 2: I then thought of poisoning the King's drink in the center of the map. I first pick up the poison, disguise myself as a chef (there is a chef disguise laying around somewhere near a chef near the exit of the map) and head back to the main central area of the map. Now the problem was, the King was permanently on his phone. Nothing was triggering him to move or for the drug dealer to come downstairs. In order for this to work the drug dealer has to come downstairs and speak with the King otherwise the King will be talking on his phone forever.
Attempt 3: I repeated attempt 2 except this time I headed over to the King's car and knocked on the car to sound the car alarm. The King then goes to his car which gives you enough time to poison his drink and steal the evidence. Now when he comes back, he may stop talking on his phone OR he may keep talking on it forever. I dont know what exactly triggers the drug dealer to come downstairs but if the drug dealer does not come downstairs to speak with the King, the King will be on his phone forever (these bugs should get fixed....)
Anyways during one of my trials I was lucky enough to have the drug dealer come downstairs and speak with the King, afterward the King will sit down and sip his poisoned drink and then you get the silent assassin rating
And then just head back to where you got the chef uniform, change back into your suit and then exit

This is how i did King of Chinatown... Ran to the middle, observed while, then took my guns and slowmo headshot. Then i runned to the crowd, killed couple cops, then ran hard again and killed some cook in alley and disguised as him, then i just walked like a boss to the end
Silent Assassin on purist mode on Chinatown mission.(is easiest)
Take fugu fish and poison King's food.
Wait till he eats it.

Where is this food? I found one place where is the shop with the cooker disguise . How many time i have to wait? I get the endless phone talking if i poison food.
If i take the fish and go straight to the alley where is the apartment of the dealer he comes but if i go to take disguise or poison food he never comes...
Maybe i should try to take the fish go to the alley so the dealer comes and then go fast to poison the food.

Got Silent Assassin while getting the bomb, dropping it near the exploding barrels, hitting the car to set the alarm on, waiting for King, and boom, Silent Assassin Easiest way.
I sure hope it gets better later on. First level sucked balls, but looking at Youtube videos it's meant to suck, telling you to go for headshots if you do need to shoot
King of Chinatown is still equally shit though, can they make the levels any tinier? :S

Play on the purist difficulty, tutorial is disabled.
As I said, radar, giant yellow arrows and warnings every time you enter a new area or draw a weapon is shit.

I actually liked the Chinatown level, felt a bit like the first level of the original hitman.
Not a lot of bullshit, just see guy and kill guy without getting noticed.
Wait, wait, I got an even easier solution. Get the explosives, place them on a crane (by installing a small elevator, may take days or weeks depending on your technical expertise), wait for King to take a piss, shoot the crane, and as the rocks (or whatever the fuck is suspended) are falling remote control the explosives blowing King into thousands of chunks.
