Great news, I'm one of the few that actually really enjoys the new Sonic episode -- though the REAL news I'm waiting for is that of the status of Sonic CD using the Retro Engine. It was supposed to be out in December, but there's been nothing mentioned for ages now
They said Ep2 uses a new physics engine, to fix the bad physics of Ep1, so that's great.

It's up on Yuplay.ru for £9.50 (449R) for the Nostalgia Edition, which is Generations + Sonic 3D + Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Also £8.50 (399R) for just Generations.
Not just confirmed either, but it accidentally went live this morning and a few people manage to snag a copy. Turns out it was just a beta version, but people were playing it anyhow

Just saw it hit a few sites Looks like Sega/Steam weren't fast enough with pulling the beta files.. someone nabbed them and cracked them.
487MB download and 1.2GB install, the one uploader claims only acts 1 to 3 are playable... yet another site claims the entire game is playable, even Episode Metal; the additional story based around Metal Sonic only available if you own both Ep 1 and Ep 2.

Game is updated to newest version and the Casino Nights DLC is included.
I don't think the DLC was included in the previous releases and while I think all the patches were cracked there might have been some silent ones (no changelog) that didn't, so I'm going to replace the release I have with this and possibly pack it with this as well: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=82910 for the ultimate modern Sonic experience.

@dr-nix: Well Sonic Colors was one of the first good modern sonic games after a long time and it was Wii exclusive.
