Have the 3.55 CFW patches dried up or am I missing something? Not had any for a few weeks now.

Yeah i decided this long ago. I use my ps3 as legit online system ect, and my glitch xbox for games. Was just interested in what was happening if anything.

Yeah, buying every game for the overpriced amount they sell console games for is completely worth it over getting games for free.

For me legit FW is the way to go, because there are next to no PS3 exclusive games I would pirate, besides those few games are all 2-3 years old now so I could probably get them really cheap.

Precisely why I went back to the official firmware. Most of the exclusives I want are a couple of years old (i.e. GoW series, Heavy Rain, MGS) and can be picked up for about £10 each. I can't think of anything coming up or within the last 6 months that would pull me back across to CFW.

Not interested in God of War 4, Deadly Premonition: SE, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Sly Cooper 4, Yakuza 5, or RE: Revelations?

GoW4 and the last of us; forgot about them. The others, not so fussed.

Hey guys,

I updated to the latest Rogero, which removes the "Install PKG" option from the XMB. Now that I've done this, I've discovered that I've got an older MultiMAN installed (4.11 I think) and it doesn't have the "Install PKG" in it. Is there any way for me to update MultiMAN without downgrading again just to do so?

Or just extract multiman pkg on PC (google is your friend), or just install the pkg by using the "PSN pkg installer", to create the .pdb files to create install bubbles on XMB... So many ways.

Wait for v2.02 of Rogero's 4.30 CFW.

Quote:
v2.01 was only a beta version with the "Install Package Files" back to XMB, then v2.02 had a better version of the "Install Package Files" application which now support split package files that Dean finished yesterday, also v2.02 is having other fixes regarding the overall CFW PKG structure that will allow installation over an existing 4.xx CFW (This step required writing an updated version of failoverflow tools which i'm still working on it to have everything working as it should) and maybe cinavia fix at the end if time allowed , also testing slowed down now due to real life work...

Also, it seems this can be installed straight from XMB, instead of Recovery mode. Wink
