The tiger faction would've captured the outpost of course, and then tiger reinforcements would've swooped in and you would've had to take the outpost from the tigers. Duh. Rolling Eyes

This actually makes sense... those guys actually had another tiger in the cage (I was considering letting it loose when that other one ran in). It's an ongoing turf war, and I guess the tigers were sending a message Very Happy

And those tigers are indeed badass. I was scouting an outpost from a hilltop further away, looking for ways to get it undetected. Suddenly, a single wild tiger runs in, kills every militia in there, including a sniper on a roof. Luckily I managed to get my sniper rifle out in time and kill the last guy before that killing machine got to him...

Undetected capture! Fuck Yeah

I wonder what would have happened if I let the tiger finish the job Smile


even if the tiger eradicated the whole camp itself it would still count as a great undetected victory and you would get 1500 exp for it Laughing

inb4 secret hidden camp in the game made up of 10 tigers who hit the alarm once they see you and suddenly you get 2 more units of tigers ariving with jeeps and boats,
your only thought being that luckily it will all be over very soon Smile

Anyway, what's the point of those tigers in cages?

Some camps just have random animals in cages. The pirates capture and keep those for whatever reason (to sell, or just for fun perhaps). Their only use to you is that you can free them and let them run loose in the outpost. Smile

The game was working fine yesterday but today I went to play and my saves were gone. The files are still in the C:\ProgramData\Orbit\46 folder but when I go into the game I only have the option "new game." I have the game set to offline mode. Any ideas?

No it didn't change anything like that, I could still keep playing afterwards though which is a bit strange but I guess they couldn't afford to just end the game for the player at that point.
(Loading a earlier save to redo the ending parts.)

I like these random situations that happen now and then. A leopard chasing deers and then going on a killing spree on patroling pirates. Or pirates losing totally all driving skill and killing their mates and killing themselves with a giant "boom" because they were driving off a cliff. Fires starting during firefights and setting off a chain of explosions etc etc.

I can't get Antialiasing to work through Nvidia Inspector. I've disabled it ingame. Any ideas?

You're gonna need some Anti-aliasing compatibility bits.

Try these: 0x00008000

You can also try Far Cry 2 compatibility for DX11 AA.

Well, in all fairness, since the game is told from a first person perspective it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for the protagonist to have occasional encounters with the antagonist... Although some audio logs or what not would have been a nice touch.

Actually all of the loot is either money or clutter for selling (Way too many poker chips and playing cards too.), from dead enemies you do get some ammo as well and from animals various hides for crafting.
(Then there's the collectibles and plants.)

EDIT: Hurk, pretty interesting character, best of the DLC mission as well but there wasn't much to compete against there. Very Happy
