Good, I hope it won't take long. Also, an alternative health/armor bar should be made available too, maybe something like in FC2. If you remove the minimap, the current style looks really bad.

Haha nope, just tried driving around a bit and it stutters all over the place while barely reaching 30fps.

I don't mind the HUD, I just hate that it isn't in that damn corner where it should be. Just let me move that and some other things so I don't feel like it's in the middle of the screen and were good to go!
Still holding off in playing the game for now, it's installed and ready to go. Once the HUD changes are in, and hopefully another performance increase from either ubi or nvidia, and I'll be very pleased.

I wonder if it will be possible to mod the gameplay too (not that the game requires extreme modding anyway), but some tweaks to make it less arcadey would be welcomed.

i have a problem i havent played far cry 3 in a couple days, and when i click on it, it loads uplay but uplay keeps trying to update itself over and over, the progress bar goes to 100% then it starts over, im unable to get into uplay and thus cannot start far cry 3, any work around?

I installed the game and patched straight to v1.02 before playing. I managed to play through the intro and the first mission, but now the game just crash to desktop every time I try to sell all my junk. Is this crack-related?

So annoying how fast you turn into a walking torch. Also walked into my first bugs. After completing an object for Buck he's just floating above the ground and I can't trigger the next step of the quest. Another thing that happend where enemies that were either invisible or "hidden" in the ground. They were shooting me, but I couldn't see them.

I have used the Quicksell many times without a hitch. On RLD 1.02

Anyone got a steam006 save for me where they just or almost finished the first island?
I was just about done while Uplay needed an update and i thought my saves where safe but i fucked up

Aaaaalmost finished everything... except last 6 missions, and remaining 50% of the idols.. Oh and still have to do the lost missions. Gettin' "my money's worth" outa this game!!

i just did the two lost mission things... such epic missed opportunities.
these both were kinda fun, but there was nothing worthwhile at the end. the exploding silo one or whatever it was, was a neat idea, but i honestly had no idea why i was there or what was happening... a bit of an intro... like me setting up the place to explode or whatever, and then making the bulk of the mission the escape, would have been great. as it was, i kinda was expecting the mission to start when i go to the end, because i hadnt DONE anything yet... but no... congrats, you made it through the gauntlet. yay. now move along
the BIGGEST crime, was the jap scientists/experiments one. that one was really interesting, exploring a hidden bunker with some crazy jap tech inside... i thought that it would end with me activating something, or discovering something... none of them has to have anything to do with the main PLOT or anything, but just have there be something cool happen at the end ffs! such a wasted opportunity, i mean why go to all the effort of making a decent couple of levels, but then fail at the intro for one and the ending for the other. all i got was some shitty assassins creed reference, and i THOUGHT id get to see something neat at the ending... wasnt expecting the text REFERENCE to be the whole thing!
in short.. eh... not worth the effort. its kinda cool, but the devs didnt bother making them anything special sadly

They should enable Co-Op with split screens already! One of the reasons I bought it was so that I could play it in split-screen, and they removed it a few days before the release, after I'd already bought it.
That's really nasty.

Fortunately there are some missions where you need to pick up some objects and the game doesn't show you exactly where they are unless you track the mission.

Well I finally fixed my legit copy. And I've now found out that I can't use anybodys save games. And I've gotten to the last island already in the RLD version and then the save games died >_>
Any trainers out there so I can get my skill points and just do the main missions?

I finished the game with the RLD version no problems. There's not much to summarise. Go watch the two endings on Youtube. That tells you pretty much all there is to tell really.

I'm a bit late comer to the FC3 and I just noticed this infamous dissappearing save game issue. Googled it but couldn't get it to work so what is the solution? Is there any at all?!

So the los expedition and monkey business does work with the uplay version (using the steam006 trick), but its very buggy. Once you fail it, you can't complete them properly, and the lost expedition where you activate a machine gives me constant falling damage.

For people that are using the coop/multiplayer crack, since the update of uplay the auto updater keeps trying to update uplay so there is endless loop. Just unplug modem/router/whatever...start fc3, the uplay will ask if you want to go offline mode, click yes, when you are in uplay, just fire up internet, on top of window select to go in online mode, and voila, click play, ghame will load, save game will work, and also coop and multiplayer will work fine.

So i uninstall current uplay, then again install uplay that came with crack (not normal one, the same as before), let it update, and then copy files to uplay folder? Are you sure save game will stay and i will be able to continue the game?
Where are save files actually saved? Can i back them up?

Its in uplay folder under savegames folder, back that up...just to be sure.
Google Uplay, download it, let it install to your cracked uplay folder, start uplay....let it update (if it wants to) crack it! Saves will work! (I actually used this method)

Is there a way to have the blood stay longer or something when you kill something...? I mean I see the blood when I shoot or stab someone but like 1 second after, the blood disapeared... Whats up with that ?
Any ini settings we can tweak ?
