Quick poll to see who is going to buy the xbox720 or ps4?

Honestly, and not to sound like a complete snob, probably all of them, with the exception of any nintendo console.
PS4, Xbox720, and most fucking definitely the steam box once that comes around.
Too many console exclusives make me want to dish out the cash.

My answer isnt present in the list, but if it was there I would vote BOTH.
The reason for that is that I dont give a shit wich one is better, its the games i`m cared about and since both got there own line of games I buy both consoles when they are out, its the reason I got atm a Nintendo Wii, PS3 and a X360.
I dont have the Wii-U yet but I prolly get one within 6 months, reason for that is I wait till price drops.

PS4 has some convincing to do seeing the state of the PS3. The 720 is a sure buy for me seeing as microsoft has released only 2 consoles, and both consoles has been brilliant.

its not going to be backward compatible because, new ps4 will have amd proccesor , ps3 has cell proccesor and emulating that is not going to go well.

not sure. i never really liked the playstation.
I like the "console" feel in consoles and console games feeling different than pc games.....
That was preset for xbox and first years of xbox 360. Then it all went down the drain

Gears of war was great. Halo4 too. (3 not)
but still. The Darkness, Red Dead etc. not bad

Of course I do, although there are plenty that agree with me. Shooters just do not belong on consoles, that's mostly MS' fault for trying to bring a PC genre to consoles (and Sony followed). As good as RDR is, it would be a million times better on a PC (and to date, I still have not finished it because of the crap controls). Same goes for Uncharted, the shooting scenes absolutely destroy all the other good stuff in the games because it's so damn slow.
I've certainly found a bunch of games on my PS3 that I enjoy a lot. But for every good one, there's 50 others that just really suck balls. Funnily enough, the games I enjoy are all anything but shooters.
Then again, Gears of War is no better on the PC. Still baffles me why those games get such raving reviews every time.
