Can anyone recommend a good outfit for NC? I usually play between the hours of 2300 and 0800 eastern time. Just built a new rig for this game and love it but I think to see what it really has to offer I need to be in a real team. I have a headset too. Thanks guys see you out there

prolly going to reroll on my soe beta account with the 3x sc event coming up the 21st.. buy 20$ of sc(in $'s not euros too.. another +) and get 6000sc... getting the xp back is just a timesink I guess

Got to ask: do they show the SC icon in the shop in the EU side client too or is there some specific shitiebensat cash instead? I just noticed that I use the US launcher with my SOE credentials, and I managed to play just fine until now.
so it IS a different thing though, its not shared between accounts.
if you have an old soe account you can just use that to play, but youll have diff payment methods. now that PSG has made it clear we EU will be getting special discounts /events too there shouldnt be much differerence between the two aside from the payment methods.
I believe it is double exp weekend again, also the station cash store is having a triple offer for the holidays so it is very good value really. I have put 23 hours into planetside so far and not paid a penny but I think it is time to contribute for the fun I have had, and with this offer it is a great deal (almost like a steam sale).
Hmm, not bad. Nice intro, nice music, but in the gameplay I was missing the sound effects from the guns shooting and shit blazing around your ears, it was way too quiet.
Me and a friend made our first machinima project using planetside 2, ofcourse only thinking of doing something like that after they had taken out the panoramic view trick from beta>_> but we managed I guess. For those interested, its a short watch so wont take much of your time, and feedback is appreciated=)

Geez there was so much lag at crossroads watchtower battle today on miller, you couldn't see players past 20 meters. I don't think most of the idiots even realized
Quite exploitable actually. I move into range in order for them to show up, see about 10 TR completely unaware. I take a few headshots and move back a meter out of range.
Rinse and repeat Place a bouncing betty at the entrance, and the best thing I was 3 meters from a weapons terminal for infinite ammo. Easy 100 kills in about 15 mins

Is anyone playing this in an EU outfit? I'm trying to get into one but the recruitment threads on the official forum are filled with childish bickering and I'd rather avoid the drama.
They only accept 18+ people and having a mumble is encouraged, to at least listen in. There's at least one platoon active at all times, can be 3 at peak times. The leaders seem to be doing a decent job at directing the fights and the community is friendly and helpful.

I shall apply! Been playing with ETOS (?) tonight and had a fair amount of fun but there was little to no actual organisation from the outfit, although that may have been due to it being a public platoon? Still, just looking for somewhere to play!
If you get accepted and sort out the mumble and invite stuff until next night, then I shall join you. We also have a colossal offensive planned for Saturday night with several big TR outfits banding together and the leaders coordinating to hit the smurf and barney weak spots for massive damage.
