Whiny Olivia appearing out of nowhere exactle where Peter was.
Apparently love saved her from the captors and not her practical skills. Yep that was it.
The removal of Observers' tech only kill Observers and not Peter.
The Observers can predict future but only when the screenwriters think it benefits the story plot.
It's better to forfeit a good and competent plan for love then sacrifice yourself for the freedom of all people.
Whiny Olivia! I can't stand what they did to that character in this season.

Peter was not doing what he did "for the people", he did it for revenge. He was trying to kill the guy who killed his daughter, not end the Observer invasion. Sure what happened in the end was the simple way, but so was the start of it (insert tech in brain -> become Observer).

What's pissing me off the most
| Spoiler: | is that they had this decent, if somewhat clichéd, subplot going on: Peter goes mad over Etta's death, uses Observer tech and eventually becomes the very thing they were fighting against. Maybe through some timey-wimey paradoxes he could even be revealed as the first Observer. But no, now the writers are like "okay guise, this whole Peter-observer thing was utterly pointless, we had to fill the time between tape-collecting with something, but everything has to end sometime, amirite?! Back to tape-collecting then!" |
