REALLY interested in this! Free-to-play usually means pay-to-win, but it can't hurt to check it out. The game looks so much like another of my favourites; Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and I'm definitely looking forward to it

Or probably pay to remove limitations..
Anyway game seems nice.. lets see what they do with it.. f2p should focus more in cosmetic/comodities rather than pay to win or pay to remove limitations..
I like the way Perfect World has handled the free-to-play relaunch of STO, with the "limitations removal" way of paying. I used to play as a regular sub and then stopped for a while, now I've gone back as a free-to-play member and haven't paid a penny into the game... yet I can play as much and as long as I like with access to all the content I want. It costs money to have extra ship slots, or crew slots, etc.. stuff you're more than able to play without.
I am not familiar with that game.. was thinking more on the line of DC UNIVERSE limitations..
I am assuming that for casual players wont make much of a diference but for more dedicated players might..
Premium in free to play is almost as a monthly fee. P2W is as bad as Premium but at least you have all the content avaliable without limitations.
Edit: I will never support those kind of f2p but when End of Nations is released and if i have fun with it i will certainly be buying some skins to support the game and its kind of f2p.

I am pretty hardcore about League of Legends and I've never felt like I had to put any money in it (even though I have, for fun, and to support them).
There are some awful micro transaction business models out there, but some awesome ones too. I consider League of Legends pretty damn awesome in that respect. Even for hardcore players.

League of Legends might be a bit hard on the newcommers but its a nice f2p model!
i played for a while and supported them even i didnt had the need too.. but i did because i was having fun and it is a nice model!
but i am taking a break atm.. idiots can piss you off pretty badly if u get them often in ur games :\
Is it browser based? The graphics are utterly horrible.

I do not think they are anywhere near a true closed beta yet as they just had one for the Press and it might of been Gamespot that really ripped on it wondering why they would have such an early version as a Press Preview. It looks and seems to play like Marvel Ultimate Alliance so hopefully it will be fun but I do think you will see lots of clones running around as each character will only have a few different costumes.
I dislike f2p anyway, cause i am not into paying for video game items, but this seems fine.
Appearently not all characters are unlocked when you start playing, for 20$ you can choose a character to unlock at start, there guess is that a lot of players do that, so they can make profit. The high prices are for people that don't give a fuck about cost and just want to have it all.
Ì bought the premium pack for $200. Estimated value is $750, so it's a good deal. I hope it wont be available soon so I can sell it for like 400 dollars just before release, big profit for me.

My friend (who is really competent with h'n's games) played it a bit and had nothing good to say about it. The character customization/itemization is quite basic and simple and the options available to free players are very restricted. Overall, it's nowhere close to be released in the next couple of monts so expect unpolished, basic game which wants you to spend a lot of money on it. Mr. Bravik - what have you done?

It's kinda strange, cause they say the new characters, skins etc... can be dropped in the game world with OR bought at the cash shop. I only had 3h or so to test, so i can't really tell how low is this %. Sufice to say i didnt get none while i was testing
