well mine 6800 GT 256 runs okay set on maximum sometimes its jerk, maybe cos of 1gb ram only

Hell yeah it is from his current rig, have you seen the specs of the xbox360, it's going to be a monster.

The PS3 is even more powerful from what i've read, but then again, it wont be available for some time.
We won't see PC hardware as powerful as this for some time i believe..

There are already keyb/mouse addons for xbox1, i'm sure there will be for PS3 and Xbox2 too..

How could anyone know for sure? But PS3 even have USB ports so it wouldnt be a problem to support it.. The new consoles will be much more like an ordinary PC, they even have built in monitor support if you think TV is too low res..

I think the consoles are going to tell a different story this time around.
I am a PC gamer but there are not enough great games like {HL2} to make me upgrade. I started as a console gamer, fell in love with my PC, now I am forced to go back to the console, do to the lack of game Great games for the PC.
Man theres nothing like a mouse an keyboard and being close to the action though.  I will still play my fav games on the PC like Deus Ex ,HL2 Man Payne Mafia Nolf BF1942
Unless I find some cash I'll be a future console gamer. My local bank is looking interesting, anyone have great hacking skills |

what you got in your tower rubber bands? your talking 300 notes for the next gen consoles, so instead of that waste of cash, take those flapping, sweating, beautiful pieces of currency parchment and spend it on a top of the range graphics card, job done |

Don't forget,PS3 and XBOX360 don't have an OS they need to run...PC's do(atleast for now?)
So other processes are always running on the background,even if the PS3 or XBOX360 have the same specs as your pc,they will run smoother(only problem is:pc's are upgradable and consoles aren't)

The new consoles will be fully online, ever heard of halo 1 & 2? They are two of the most popular online games.
Realism of games is irrelevent when we're referring to platform, I don't see how PC games are any more realistic then consoles games.

I don't think there is much point in arguing about opinions on how much is to be spent on your toys. People like different thhings and will purchase what makes them happy. Next gen consoles will be cool because , for example quake 4 will have identical graphics on the console version and the pc, which means, at least for some time the consoles will be on the level and a lot of people will rather cash out $350 or so for the xbox360 and $60 for quake than $3000 for the top pc. I never understood why consoles and pc people always argue, its just two different markets. There is a number of people, like myself that like all innovations and toys that lead to better gaming experience and consider that as the most important thing. Thank god I have a good job and I can afford both a good high end pc and consoles. If your situation is different, pick what you like better, and dont talk crap about the other option, just because you do not have it, or you are just trying to make the device you use look "better" ///
Me personally I will be completely happy when we have video games running graphics as in the Movie Lord of the rings ... which is about closest to reality that I have seen ... mmmm hopefully in the next 8-10 years before im too old and my wife starts really thinking why the hell am i still playing games ... hehe
