My friend is not able to load the game at all.
He has a Philips 109S6F 4ms.
Apparently the game loads in default at 800x600 and his monitor does not support that low. We tried everything. Can anyone help??

Thanks

Zonealarm caused that prob for me. its that thisandthat is trying to access internet popup. Just press "d" to deny or config zonealarm to allow it automaticly or whatever.
+If you happen to have zonealarm that is.

I have never seen a monitor that doesn't support 800x600.
Well at least no modern monitor or tft. What model is it?
Might be a refresh rate problem, try switching to 60Hz in the display settings.

there's a readme with the game...but because I'm such a "nice" guy I'll take MY time and read through it for you -_-

Changing Default Resolution on Widescreen Monitors
If you have a widescreen monitor, you can modify the default resolution. Create a desktop shortcut to your game's .exe file, and then modify the command line in the shortcut by adding the arguments "width=xxxxx height=xxxxx" to the end of the command line. To do so, right-click the shortcut on your desktop, choose Properties from the shortcut menu, and, in the Target text box, type the arguments. For example:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege 2\DungeonSiege2.exe" width=1680 height=1050

you can thank me by doing this yourself next time

i can has computar?!

OH! You could also go into you DS2 install directory and run DS2VideoConfig.exe and set you default resolution there.

I especially like

Whoops, i either didn't see that, or he put it in afterwards
Anyways, that tft has a MAX resolution of 1280x1024, so it should support 800x600.

Since you already are talking about screen problems with DSII, I got one.

When I'm creating an LAN game there is no problem for my brother to join the game. But when I press the "Start" button the screen turns black. I can se the DSII cursos, and I can move it around. Sometimes I even hear game sounds in the background. But the screen is still only black.

Anyone know anything about this? I appritiate any help I can get.

Thanks in advance!
