ATVs are road legal too tho, and is awesome fun I can get mine on the road, but its really meant for racing... it doesn't even have a reverse

I've heard from motor driviers that ATVs suck - they can't steer..

It depends, if its powerful enough you can go sideways wherever you want... but ATVs got a higher center of gravity than go carts so they can be a little scary at times :/
