Ace Combat series kinds of falls in the same category. You do have limited ammo (even on the guns), so you must think what targets you can kill in a dogfight, what targets do you want out with the dumb missiles and what targets you want taken out with the guided missiles.
Some missions will require precision bombing. Again, you will have to chose carefully the payload and the right plane for the job. It's probably the best arcade sim series made for consoles and surpassing, by far, a lot of the recent crap thrown at us on PC in the arcade flights sims area.
Strike Commander might have given birth to this series gameplay, too. Seeing that movie, i was able to understand why the Ace Combat series felt always so familiar to me... |

Too bad:
1. they are making port of the worst AC game
2. they are going to use GFWL
3. they are going to release retail version
4. they are going to sell more than one year old game for full prize
5. they are going to blame pirates for bad sales
6. no more AC games for PC

the only ace combat game I never completed...
I think it's still an ok game but not what I was looking for as an ace combat fan.
maybe it has a chance on PC as there will be many who never played ace combat before.
30€ at least sounds like a good price to launch with. could actually sell a few copies.

Leave it to idiot Japan developers to put some ridiculous resolution limit (a resolution that does not exist  ). This durr will probably have 30fps hard lock due to cockpit animations running at 30fps.

EDIT: Wow, quick time events.
(E / Y-button focus events, apparently red ones cause you to fail the mission if you aren't fast enough.)
EDIT: Screen turns red when taking damage too.
(Doesn't really seem to fit this type of game though.)

Cddiski has region free multilanguage steam keys even though the site states it has live drm (it has both actually), just asked support. It´s really cheap, only $12.

No, i´m still downloading flt´s release. They changed the delivery date to 29/1, instead of 25/1, but keys will be for steam. For 12 bucks i´m def getting it.

Terrible port:
- Only upscalling from 720p.
- Rumblepad 2 is officially supported, but controls are fucked up. You can not use your mouse, only KB.... fuck yeah.
