I wanted unlimited flashpoint access. Smile

They actually eased up on that quickbar thing. You get 2 extra quick bars for free now! Can you believe it?

If there are any former subscribers or preferred players that want to donate an account, I would like to give this a try but all the F2P restrictions like no Cargo Hold, etc are really making think twice about it.

So you effectively want someone to pay you to play it.

GDC 2013: BioWare expected players to take three to five months to hit SWTOR’s level cap
Laughing

With their target audience (the mainstream casuals) I can see it happening, but it seems that they expected that from your usual MMO player... Facepalm

Loved the leveling on this one, when i hit maximum level at release then i quitted. I really cant play MMOs which doesnt have nice raids and loot (good looking armor models etc..). Its nice to see in your character that you have spend your time on it, not some bum looking generic Luke Skywalker (or generic korean grindfest char). Not to mention nothing beats big raids which are challenging as fuck, good people in it, dying all over again, and then when you finally get the boss down... Its just so nice feeling Very Happy.

This is why no MMO hasnt beat WoW in my opinion, the end game content is just so good (tho i dont play it anymore), not to mention very nice art style on tier armors and shit. Miss the good old vanilla/Tbc times, we cant get it anymore back tho (thanks Blizzard and retarded 13 year old console bro´s).

If there's one thing this game got very right in the end was the handling of gear once it was sorted out. I love that you can pick up social and other gear that fits your armor class and mitch-match them together using mods.

I ended up using an imperial space suit with Tusken headgear. Made me sound like Sovereign from Mass Effect 1 (still the only dialogue that I listen to even on replays, dat voice). Very Happy

About the same as the last one in this video:

Too bad about the rest of the game though...

In anarchy online you can wear social gear (thats visible instead of regular armor pieces) and you can buy all sorts of complete sets of armor look a likes, or fashionable clothes etc.

And for swtor, its fun to play once from 1-50 to finish a story line and ... thats it. I tried several times to do another char and at level 20 max it simply bored the living hell out of me Smile

He probably knows that but is just spamming because that link likely contains a referral code and he gets some kind of a bonus if someone subs over his link.

I played closed beta, got bored, canceled my CE pre-order. Played it again a month or 2 ago for a while and had some fun. I don't mind some of the P2P vs F2P features, but the 25% reduction in XP is BS IMO. This game defines P2W, sadly. If you just want to do the single player, it's OK I guess, but if you want to group, you really need to sub.

There was a lot more costume options in closed beta. Vendors had stuff with all mod slots open, that you could buy items that you liked the look of and stick with it. I can't remember if they removed it before the beta weekends, or just before launch, but a lot of people were disappointed. They also removed the match to chest option for launch, and only brought it back later. I guess they were worried about people having too many different looking equipment, that they'd have to load and render at once, so they forced everyone to have items that look the same, with some slightly different color textures.

So they have officially announced the secret space project. As suggested by the data mining over the last few months, it is PVP only at this point. Kinda lame, but maybe they'll expand on it in the future and add in some PVE content.

The surprising thing is that it will be free. They are just staggering access based on sub/preferred/free. Subs get it in December, Preferred in January, Free in February, plus there are some additional bonus items for subs. I gather they plan to monetise it by selling all the ship upgrades in the cash shop.

Better than nothing and better than I feared. But obviously, we want a freeform space game where we fly between planets ourselves and explore the galaxy in our customizable starships.
