yeah it's not like you're donating 10$. You actually get something useful out of it.
But yeah if you just want to try it now might as well just wait for the open beta...

heads up guys, the open beta of this great game starts in 10 days. Be sure to grab it.
I started playing this again after a few months and the added story elements and some rebalancing has really improved this already impressive f2p game. Really puts D3 and Torchlight 2 to shame and as mentioned its free.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

So is there any point for me to play closed beta right now or should I wait for it to go open? Got a key from my friend. Tried it for a few levels and it is by far the best hack and slash Ive played. Diablo 2 aged graphics and running animations put me off, titan quest was bland with boring armors, torchlight a bit too kiddie and D3 is... well, D3. This has awesome dark atmosphere, its free, leveling system seems awesome with tons of viable builds.

I've played it several months ago but decided to wait in order to try it again, since:

I decided to get the closed beta during the summer because i was curious about the game and I also wanted to support the devs with some cash.
Cant wait once it goes gold and Im hoping this will become the next big hack n slah.

Same, the only thing that bothered me was the inventory system, was kinda meh...hope that shit was improved, and waiting for 23 to join the damn open beta.

have they enriched the variety of armors and items in general from an aesthetic point of view? I bought a key before the release date of D3 and the whole thing looked dull to me eyes.

Each type of armor has a new model every 5 or so levels. Sometimes less of a gap, sometimes more. There's a fairly large array of looks to them, especially when you compare early gear to the current late-game stuff.

I won't play on hardcore since I dislike the idea of it a lot. I'll stick to the normal league and I'll play with either a templar with a mace and a shield or a shadow with daggers.
