So today was my birthday, ive said it before, i dont celebrate it, i dont plan anything, i dont care about it, its another day, just a year more here. Whatever.

And in one topic here i talked about not caring for friends comming over etc.... well fuck, it did sting me a bit.

Not because i wanted, not because i asked for it. But because i woke up and saw my mother going out, buying stuff, cooking stuff, preparing stuff for the night, i didnt ask for that... telling me to tell my friends etc.... so i saw her effort.... and i told my mates to come over, they congratulated me etc but noone showed up, my gf was here, a friend of the family and an uncle, i was enjoying my gf's company, all i needed really and my family. But when i came to, when i popped out of my room and saw the table with the cake, the food etc and i had to tell my mom that they had not come that they were busy probably. I felt bad, her effort, her expectancy.

-10 points to these fucking cunts Very Happy

Happy Birthday, Lopin.

The way things are presented, I actually don't know anything of the situation's background. Maybe they don't want to be with him because he hasn't been a good friend or has done something to drive them back. I don't know. I don't see anything silly in thinking that both possibilities have an equal standing of being true.

The silly thing was to post it even though you know nothing about it, hence you coming off as someone adding to the pain just for the hell of it.

Then it is silly as well to say his friends are crappy without knowing anything about it. But yet, it is OK to judge them without a grain of information and not the original poster.

Plus, he likes to not celebrate his birthday at all. Don't think the pain was that great. Laughing

Actually he isnt far fetched, since in the weeks im working and studying at night and then the weekends im always doing stuff or with the girlfriend i rarely go out with them or visit them. and maybe sometimes i can come off as a grunchy or antisocial, but we've been known for years, its part of us. but who knows hehe.

But they do like me a lot, they invite me out often, last time one of them was in their birthday i did go and we got together, all of us. Then in a recent drinking meeting i did go and we were all there. We arent enemies or in bad terms and they always like having me around.

This time they failed to come, some of them did call me later at night after we had cut the cake asking me if i was gonna do something then, drinking or something etc, but i told them to go out drinking next weekend. But i still havent told them just how much my mother had done for the night, ill do it today to wake them up a bit. Maybe i failed to give it the importance it needed seeing all my mother did, but thats not quite it.

I dont judge them too much, but it did get to me to see my mom's effort go to waste, and i will share that pain with them and i know they will feel it too.

yeah, stuff certainly doesn't matter too much to me Razz not that i care but as i said, seeing my mother effort go to waste, all that food on the table for 5 people. Awkward shit right there and it did wake me up a bit, im not gonna avoid invitations anymore, dont wanna let someone's girlfriend stranded with 4 people in a bar waiting for us friends, or a family waiting.
