i have beaten the game also, and I saw that mob alot...it drops like 4 rare items i think per visit. any one know why its in the game or why he spawns?

i had the same problem when i started playing, first time when i got there i killed some of the dryads out side the colony, and could not contiune. so i restarted the game with a new hero and when i got to that stage i ran into the colony then killed them and it worked. so yer u might have to restart the game :/

I cant say for sure but i think it's just a funnier version of a reward. In the mercenary version of the game he always spawned just after i had killed a big boss or a little time afterwards. Now in the veteran version it seems more random. He doesnt drop four items, he drops an amount of items based on how much damage you deal to him.

Do you mean the tomb in the Snowbrook Grotto? Because that one is the first tomb you must visit in the Mace of Agarrus quest. After Snowbrook you go to the Tomb of Agarrus and get your mace.

Deru's Treasure Hunt : Act 2 : side quest
* 2nd step look for water in the desert. Ive looked everywhere and I cant seem to find the location.
Amren's Vision : Act 2 : side quest
* I remember seeing a mushroom circle in the greilan jungle, but i cant remember where... anyone know which teleporter its by?
Mace of agarrus :act ? : side quest?
* where does this quest begin?

I'm trying to complete the sidequest from act 1 ,where I have to trade a doll for something. I did trade it with a girl at the falls. But I think I accidentally sold the item. Do someone know, what item you get from her (to give to the mother who gave me the doll)?????????

Reboot your computer. |
DOn't forget that if you join more than one network it gives you the same error... If you quit one newtowrk to create a new one you get the error.... so try to stick to one network and if you change, Reboot your comp.

act 2 chapter 8, after u kill the big blue dragon and the next teleporter(in the room after u get the key, end of the room where the teleporter is.. it shows a star...quest is to escape..but theres just a star..is somethign else suppose to be there??? i think my game messed cuz im not suppose to leave the way i came i tried that... any help with do plz.

I've begun playing on veteran and picked up a fifth member for my party, the problem is that the new member doesn't seem to get any experience, Finala (new to the group) is lvl 30 and the rest are 43. Anyone got any tips?

Seems kind of buggy, my characters were fine. The new ones i picked up the "normal way" was all +/- 1 my level and the old ones in the inn auto-leveled to my level.

You mean the second time you kill (all right i realize you can only be killed once but what the heck) it right? In the small passageway after you've picked up the aegis? The Azunite Scholar is supposed to appear and give a speech. Reload your save. In "My Documents\My Games\DS2" you can find your save games, the game stores two for you, one that it uses and one backup. If your new savegame is too new, rename the ds***.bak.

Ouch! Just installed the 2.1 patch & game no longer loads my saved game (!) Had to go back to 2.0 EXE, start new game & save it & copy header from new game to old 1. Restart game, select start game & saw my level 42 knight there, next & back in !!!

If you don't use the 2.1 fixed EXE the game will crash randomly and force you to reboot your computer. SmartE, the protection that's used by Microsoft on its games causes this to happen. It works similar to the way FADE does but it isn't as annoying/buggy on legit cds.

Changes:
1. Created a segmented file save system for GameSpy file size compatibility.
2. Adjusted GameSpy vaulting protocols to compensate for party save files during loss of connection.

damn didnt work thanks for the help.. the backup was after i killed the dragon too..gues im screwed
