Yeah it's a server issue, I got the key but it's named "ValveTestApp" so it's not updated properly.
(The record / subscription in the Steam registry.)

Heh this is quite a customized build of UE3, none of the normal tweaks seem to be possible.
(It even uses a profile file instead of the user ini files so one has to edit the default ones.)
EDIT: Getting rid of the logo videos and some other small tweaks work, custom key binds might work too.

Yeah they seem to have fixed that retail problem now too, just restart the Steam client and it should update (Or re-download) the game.

ME GUSTA X3
Hopefully someone releases a trainer or something to do an "Unlock everything" (weapons, max life n DT,etc) so i can do my PC Walkthrough....better on PC (+60FPS) than Console with technical shit
Yes,i've got the PS3 version and it has serious technical issues and one huge bug on Mission 10 or 11...where you killl everyone and the supposed cutscene wont happen...

Good port by Capcom. The game doesn't look amazing, but it runs according to how it looks. I'm getting steady 60fps on my low-end rig.

JBeckman, what UE build is this game using? It looks.. rather better than the average UE3.

I'm not quite sure actually but it must be fairly recent, most everything in the ini files at least seems replaced by Nina Theory (And QLOC) commands though I managed to do some stuff like removing the logos.
(Editing the base ini files also works to a limited degree though the game defaults aren't easy to work with at all.)

Wow, this game has the most juvenile and ridiculous presentation I have ever witnessed in any game I've played. For the first time in my gaming life, I feel old. Gameplay seems good enough, but I can't takemore than an hour at a time.

DarkRohirrim, I have to admit I was wrong the writing/presentation is MUCH worse than it was in previous games.
A question, Does the game support 64bit and/or DX10/11? My steam version runs 32bit DX9 by default.

Never was a fan of DMC games, played 4 but didn't liked at all, dunno how this will change now, played this for one hour so far, it's fine, but I doubt will ever finish.

Yeah it's horrible. I turned music volume all the way down, but I wish to be be able to mute voice as well, and also skip cutscenes.

I couldn't know for sure since I haven't played it either (not even now... didn't even download it since I was busy playing DMC3!), but that's what I got from watching/reading some reviews and seeing some of the game itself in random videos. So it's actually as I feared? I'm afraid of what I'll think of it if I'll try it now. I would play it back to back with DMC3 that way, which means "as fresh as you can get" memories of DMC3, hehe. Even with this atrocious PC port, the game's still an absolute blast.
