The facial animation didn't look that great, not if it was supposedly supposed to be better than LA Noire's as per another one of his posts



Names changed due to those leaks ( it isn't that hard to change it + the new names suit the characters better )

No,but giving the content and space and all the rest of the almost unlimited things you could do for hundreds of hours in the game is far better than those facial animation,so we dropped that idea ( we are talking about fitting the game on as many less dvd's it's possible yet still have a BIG content game ) + it wouldn't fit for a GTA game, it was better for a detective story game where you actually use and you can exploit those animations.

ZNP has given us alot of truthful information, obviously not everything can be spot-on.
if you dont want to trust him and insult him, go ahead, maybe he will leave the forum then and will never give as any information again.

if you trust him, best thing that could happen is getting some correct insight on an unrelesed game, and worst thing that could happen is the things he said not being true and the game being different - OH SNAP, WHAT A HORRIBLE THOUGHT! Rolling Eyes

I can't see them putting children on the streets, a simple mod and the media would label it as a kid killing simulator.


I want rampages, to be able to ride on the top of cars again, maybe a seatbelt option and some form of GTA for the Vita. Get to it R* Very Happy

one thing i always missed in open world gta-like games were kids, i have mass murdered young people, middle aged people, old people, but no kids yet Sad

i guess i ll have to go back to fallout 2 for my child murdering sessions.

Because we really love nfohump, here in Rockstar games, I will provide you some exclusive information:

- there will be about 10+ radio stations ingame
- you can steal cars
- you can shoot the cops
- there will be plenty of guns
- more than one ending
- game will be released for PC/Fall 2013
- PC version will be highly optimized
- we reworked our framelimiter tech, so we could increase fps cap from 30 to 33fps on PC. PC gamers can now play game with 10% more fps than console gamers
- game will be released on more than one DVD disc
- there will be multiplayer
- game will use R* Social Club

Fuck AA, they only allow us to play at UltraHD (3840×2160) resolution), so no AA needed.
Lower resoutions are not allowed and people should upgrade!

@LeoNatan: Yes, DX11 allows us to use shader-based antialiasing methods like: FXAA, TXAA and MLAA. No MSAA (or any other proper AA method) support atm.

@difm: thank you for pointing out my typo. You will get free GTA V wallpaper at launch*. More typos you find, more wallpapers you get.
