Wow, this game has the most juvenile and ridiculous presentation I have ever witnessed in any game I've played. For the first time in my gaming life, I feel old. Gameplay seems good enough, but I can't takemore than an hour at a time.
Yeah it's horrible. I turned music volume all the way down, but I wish to be be able to mute voice as well, and also skip cutscenes.
I dont know why all the sudden hate towards the game, i think some people are getting carried away by other people´s thoughts. I never was a fan of dmc games, but i´m really enjoying this one. I dont stop to think about the childish dialogs or the new look of dante, I enjoy it as it is. Gameplay is smooth, gfx are great and I actually enjoyed the music a lot, it suits the game perfectly imo.
80-120fps on GTX460. Ultra settings with HD textures, HD AA and HD Shadows.

It's just the vibe I got from the first hour. I'll try to play further to see how it improves, but this is really nothing like the previous games. I did myself say I don't care about the story and the character in the DMC games, but the presentation in this one is really weird. I think it's desgined by the producer's 16 year old kid on harddrugs and steroids.

So hmmm, just played like 1 hour. Game feels very solid, gameplay is awesome, graphics are pretty aswell, performance is top notch.This new DmC is like 100x times easier than the previous ones in DmC 3, normal enemies could kill you with couple blows. New Dante is bit shocking, but it suits well in this new direction. Dunno, nice timewaster, ninja theory atleast knows how to use properly UE3!
been downloading the reloaded version since noon. almost done. but yeah... if you look pass the one direction look... it does have tight gameplay. and it's great for a button masher like dmc. \o/
at the options screen,whenever i changed from 59 to 120hz (my monitor's a 3D BenQ XL2010T or something with 120hz,the monitor with the Windows config's set to 120hz perfectly),everytime i Apply then go back then back to the graphics section it goes back to 59....but the rest of settings i've touched (ULTRA quality n stuff) are perfectly applied..
any help?????
Btw,does anybody knows if there'll be a 100% unlocker?..i want to make a video walkthrough of the PC version and wanna rock it all out
Also,vibration doesn't works and my Logitech Rumblepad 2's drivers are installed and for some other games it works perfectly
Should i use x360ce ?..the game's buttons are correctly mapped,yet the supposed "X" button for PS3 is "Cancel" instead of "Confirm" in the game
EDIT: Vibration works perfectly ONLY if i use x360ce...if i dont use x360ce and have the drivers installed the game wouldn't vibrate then..
Still,someone tell me about a trainer or something for 100%!..or atleast a 100% savegame!...found a trainer out there but it contains a Trojan,so i cleaned the PC

Regarding the refresh rate, I have the same issue - I change it from 50hz to 60hz and it comes back to 50hz. I read somewhere that the INI config file does chage to 60hz so maybe it's just an issue with the menu itself.

i had some adrenaline moments in the first level. so it was satisfying to me \o/
I had only played the fourth installment of the series prior to DmC, and I remember never finishing it. Didn't like it. This one, on the other hand, is much better and satisfying. Having definitely more fun with it.
P.S. One of the later levels (with the upside perspective of a rainy environment with an objective to kill a demon running a broadcasting tower) had me think of it as a light version of the Samatarian DX11 demo.

Who gives a fuck what dante looks like. - its a skin - you never see him unless yer make a habit of starin in mirrors. I wouldn't care if he was a hunchback albanian dwarf - as long as the gameplay is as much fun as this one is.
maybe a bit too easy but there's peeps asking for trainers -dunno why even an incompetent such as meself has to work hard to die, but there you go. Long as the game stays fun who cares how you go about it eh.
Steam worked hard to fuck this up & failed. My youngest kid has been wanderin round the house for a while mutterin evil curses about that Gabe Newel (sic) bloke n what he gorges fer breakfast.

So I downloaded this too in the end. It plays nice (although it feels so much easier and I don't know... simplistic), it runs nice, it looks nice, Dante really pisses me off, right from the start of the game. No suprises there. Are the skins not included in RELOADED's release? If so, I'll hold on until they are. I can't stand the junkie look.
