MERGED SERVERS FOR MORE FUN!

Dear adventurer,

Are you ready for the next phase of matchmaking? Well then we’ve got good news for you: We are decreasing the waiting times on battlegrounds and dungeon groups and increasing the number of potential allies and opponents at the same time!

On November 20th, we will merge several game servers to ensure an improved game experience overall for everyone.

All existing PvP servers (EN, DE & FR) will be merged into one international PvP server called ‘Killian’, allowing for international competition among battleground veterans.

The German PvE server ‘Elion’ will be merged with ‘Kaia’, resulting in one common PvE server for the German-speaking community called ‘Hasmina’. The same will happen to the English PvE servers ‘Allemantheia’ and ‘Velik’. The one new common PvE server for the English-speaking community will be called ‘Fraya’. French players will see no change and can continue their battle against the Argon Queen on ‘Elinu’.

sure love how they try to sugar coat their failure Smile

The F2P restrictions are atleast not as bad as SWTOR, good for us that other devs didn't see the Biowhore F2P model as a profitable one Razz

Is it removed from Steam? I'm not able to see TERA store page.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

How I really feel about it? Well, all Korean MMOs are just a huge fucking grindfest tbh. They don't contribute with anything. Every god damn Korean MMO that comes out is almost an exact copy of the last one. And let's not talk about the Pay2Win systems they have in all of their games, like the cash shops. Ugh, I feel sick just thinking about it.

http://tera-europe.com/home/news/article/f2p-launch-date-tuesday-5th-of-february-2013.html

I hope they can handle the second launch better this time, but i doubt it with frogster (UH WHAT?! I see UBISOFT NOW?! omg Shocked )

When did that happen?!

Apparently Ubisoft was the distributor for the physical copy of TERA.

And Frogster has changed its name to Gameforge.

Was in the same Boat i tried to like TSW and couldnt get into it , story was good as expected from a Tørnquist game but combat was boring and animations looked rly terrible to me, say what you want but combat is just what you do 90% of the time in an MMO and Tera has fucking great combat.
Never got why the game is bashed from so many ppl, Haters gonna hate i guess.
The Game is not grindy at all you can get to maxlvl very fast, quests are little dull but not more then most MMOs and the game really shines in group play against Bams or the Dungeons.
Eu Managment was rly bad unfortunately (see my post last page for this)
and that was what killed the game hald a year ago for me, i picked it up again a few days ago and it seems Gameforge has improved a lot from back when the game was run by Frogster in that department.
