The result is good, imo. |
Going by the screenshots there, he made DS2 look like shit. I get not liking blurry graphics, but I don't like SHARPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP graphics either. It's like watching TV with the sharpeness setting too high |
Hehe agreed, you can disable it completely though (or vastly reduce the sharpen effects from the txt like I did), leaving the better palette and less washed-up visuals.

Eurogamer gave it 7/10, simply stating in the end that "it's certainly not a great game."
"Dead Space 3 is a contradiction. Gorgeous but scruffy; tightly packed yet stretched too thin; often frustrating, frequently thrilling and bursting at the seams with stuff, not all of which fits comfortably inside the boundaries the series has set for itself. It's certainly not a great game, except perhaps as a poster child for the kitchen-sink development mentality of a console generation in its twilight months. But it does manage to balance out every misstep with something worthwhile. Sadly, newcomers with no preconceptions will likely enjoy this rollercoaster more than the series' fans."
The only good thing about this series is the atmosphere and setting. Also, if you enjoy endless cheap jump scares and mindless shooting for 10 hours straight, then this is the right game for you. I have no desire to play it, because I know it's going to be the same shit all over again and I will get bored again after a few chapters, just like it happened with DS1 and DS2. It's as stupid as Prometheus, a loud rollercoaster ride without depth. And now with co-op - fuck yeah!

They can be found in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\EA Games\Dead Space 3
but there aren't any language-related lines in those files, only the same settings as the menu.

Vsync enabled --> locked at 30fps.. fail. Try using MSI Afterburner frame limiter at 60 fps --> massive tearing. If Vsync in game is still enabled, with MSI/Rivatuner limiter set to 60 it gets locked at 30fps. Forcing vsync through CCC does nothing.. lol.. anyone solve this?
