Mister_s : just install rebug REX 4.21, it can do a "mini" CEX2DEX, and thus allow you to use a usb stick as a mini bluray which then allows you to mount any games from multiman and they are relinked to that mini bluray : the ps3 will boot it from bdvd instead of app_home and thus will think there is a disc inserted.
So far I think only rebug REX 4.21 has such functionalities. 4.3X FW are useless themselves in case you are afraid of that, all 4.3X games work on 4.21, Multiman patches the headers for that.
@Mister_s : all CFW are based on the same leak that leaked in the first place, there is no "way to go CFW". If i were you, i'd rather go to REX because your bluray is dead and it's your only chance to have a 100% compatibility.
edit: wouldn't I need to downgrade from Rogero 4.30 if I want to use Rebug 4.21? Won't I need one of those HW thingies in that case?
You just need to download the 3.55 downgrader, then apply the 3.55 rogero's cfw and finally update to Rebug 4.21. Don't forget to QA Toggle when you're back on 3.55.
You do need to downgrade to 3.55 and then rehash syscon to finally install 4.21 rebug.
You don't need any hardware to do so, just follow tutorials on the internet, there is a speical pup to downgrade to 3.55.
Then, you need to install QA Flag (toggle QA), to dehash syscon by installing again ANY 3.55 PUP from Recovery mode. Then finally you can update to rebug 4.21.
Make sure you google tutorials for that though to be safe because if you dont dehash, you will brick by installing any other FW after downgrading to "3.55 downgrade".
