At 2nd missions you are introduced to human enemies which unfortunately shows how bland it is. Gun customization is basically cosmetic albeit the ability to change the underbarrel weapon. Who the fuck wants to put a silencer on a pulse rifle...that's just wrong. 
Graphics on the 360 is a mess...jaggies everyehere and poor textures all around. My only hope is that the pc version would be slightly better gfx wise but seeing as it is Sega,I doubt it. :/
All in all,it's worth a play for the nostalgia's sake.  |
My expectations aren't high, but that sounds even worse.  The glorious Alien franchise deserves better than it's gotten over the years, almost all the recent movies and videogames related to it have been a disgrace.  |

Yep, this game is bland as fuck. AI is also terrible in this game. Aliens standing still for multiple seconds when they come into the room at times, or your coop AI ignoring enemies at times and vice versa. It feels like a poor mans COD in the alien universe. The fuck yeah brofist attitude is forgiven in this case seeing as the marines were like this in the actual movie.

If you're a fan of the franchise, I think you'd enjoy it. If you're not a fan, then it could easily be skipped.
Personally, I'm looking forward to it as is a good friend of mine. Coop'ing the whole damn game .

Were there many high-profile games released recently that supported LAN in any way? I thought publishers pretty much killed it for major titles, since it works against the idea of on-line component being there to deter piracy.

Seems like another gearbox fuckup, which I just don't understand after having played and enjoyed Borderlands 2.
Guess their next game is going to be great then

Well, certainly don't count me as one of them. I didn't download Derp Space 3 nor ever will, same for this, same for MOH Derpfighter, Ghost Recon, Syndicate in 2012, and so on). Not a single KB wasted on those  |
Your loss! You've missed out MoH's innovative deep mechanics, Ghost Recon's superb re-imagination of the old prehistoric and obsolete formula, and the amazing eye opening (literally) technology behind Syndicate.

The INTERESTING thing here is if it's an übercrappy port of it they made an effort to optimize and increase quality and responsiveness for PC's.
