The way Steam Workshop works is a good reason why many mods aren't available there.

Skyrim HD Texture Pack Update on Steam
In a continued effort to support our PC fanbase, we’ve released a Steam update to Skyrim’s (free) HD Texture Pack. In addition to high resolution textures in the main game, the update adds improved textures for Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and the newly-released Dragonborn. |
Props to Beth for updating it.

Damn, just hit a ugly bug. Was doing the mehrune dagon quest to restore the dagger with Silus. When i brought him the pieces and went to some shrine where i'm supposed to meet him, he's not there. Haven't seen anyone reporting the same bug.

The NPC's don't normally teleport around, they walk and sometimes they get stuck. You can teleport them to your location if you know their ID (which you should be able to find from UESP or some other wiki).

It does have the updated files, or so they claim.

It's great. A whole new island to explore, a bunch of new side quests and dungeons and some great armor and clothing pieces for your character. The main quest is pretty short and straightforward but I still enjoyed it much more than Dawnguard's because it deals with one of the most interesting entities in TES universe. And my mage character finally gets to wear Telvanni robes, fuck yeah!

Pretty much my thought as well. I like the how the mainquest is not as long. I didn't like Dawnguard because the pacing feels odd, The amount of Falmer I have already killed in MQ and then a shit ton more in Dawnguard MQ, it was too much. This one you'll face new enemies, and the only new enemies have their own storyline / questline. I like that idea a lot.

http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1441842-mods-affected-by-hd-dlc-update-what-needs-fixed-again/
It makes no real difference if you keep them or not (I removed what was fixed properly though.) since it's the same texture though in some cases the community fix is better (Removed redundant alpha channels or fixed missing ones, sharper due to Bethesda using wrong compression and such.)
That thread has a pretty good overview of what was fixed and what still needs to be corrected.

Requiem is pretty gd. It has a lot of changes, so there are ought to be things you might not like. But overall it is definitely interesting to give it a try. I find it better than ACE or Skyrim Redone as the changes in those are not as huge as I would like.

Also while on the main quest of Dragonborn a certain something will interfere when you kill a random dragon though it's very obvious when it happens.
(The issue you are experiencing is as mentioned above related to the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, a script they updated was altered by Dragonborn and thus you need the Dragonborn unofficial patch which restores it.)

Christ, Bethesda games still suck a big fat one, when it comes to stability.
Already given up on completing the new DLC because of constant crashes

My 60 hours played save file with Dawnguard, Dragonborn and a bunch of mods has reached 11.7 Mb in size. Should I be worried about bloating or is this pretty much normal?
