I was looking for something much less boggy to use but still had good features, is the opera mini browser which seems to get some great feedback worth using for browsing?
I see firefox have one out also but not sure about that due to knowing how it can be on pc
google I have installed and use but it still feels badly designed to me.
thoughts please

yeah dont you have to fuck about though with permissions etc if you dont have a nexus 7 for example that I see people using aosp on.
gs3 here so if im correct the aosp browser is ripped right out to be used.
I just wanted something better that I didnt have to screw about too much to get it working correctly.. meh..

@moosenoodles Pretty sure there is AOSP Browser APK on X D A. But phone must be rooted, I take it you are not into that at all? Is there an AOSP based Rom for your phone? Then it will come as default browser.
I have used pretty much all of the browser and I must say I like AOSP one the best.

I still prefer it over everything else. It doesn't crash like Chrome or Safari do (I can make at least Safari crash with 2 lines of CSS, haven't checked if Chrome has the same issue ), has a nice clean interface, renders fast. Moreover, I've been using it since my WinMo days as well, with Opera Link (syncing bookmarks, passwords and all that - long before Chrome and such came with it) so I've just grown used to it.

I tried it years ago and wasn't impressed, never bothered since. Doesn't really matter to me anyway, I've grown so used to having all my bookmarks etc. sync between devices and machines that Dolphin is not a realistic option anymore anyway.
The only thing Opera Mobile lacks is some gestures for fullscreen.

no im ok with all that, got my sg3 rooted with Su/lucky patcher/bbox, all here etc...
I was just unimpressed with the browsers for android thats all, full of promises but either laggy/unresponsive/awkward to use and not practicle for where and how to use it with fat fingers etc..
so many of you saying so many different ones
