nah, nextgen is 2 hours of gaming, 1 hour of QTEs with a 30 minute credits sequence and a pinch immersion and awesomeness.

I hope the game felt this short because the journo rushed it in lolrmal difficulty, and if you want to play as a predator (which is the whole point of the bow etc), it'll take a lot longer. I'm pretty sure it'll still be shorter than Crysis 2, but I hope it's like 20% shorter, not 60%!

So it's a more "open" game than Crysis 2 but shorter than an already short pew pew pew garbage.

Crysis 2 is not short. Not at all actually.

Maybe they've really listened to the fans, so many times I've wished that Crysis 2 was shorter since it got so boring in the middle that I barely could proceed without yawning.

In the case of Crysis it's not exactly an excuse.
If you use only "maximum speed" then Crysis 1 on easy (assuming Crysis 3's normal=Crysis 1's easy.. like most games once they went multiplatform) then Crysis 1 is a 5 hour game as well.

In the end it depends on how linear is the game, if there are bigger levels than Crysis 2 that does make sense..otherwise it's just a silly excuse (imo  )
