If they aren't, they should...
This is the reason why I don't trust any teaser or any hype behind no matter what game, I'm a gamer since the spectrum 48k and then, the money was short so a nice dupe tape of the good games was the only money I could spent, this day and age we are bombarded with previews, teasers, fucking previews of teasers and demos promising this and that and hardly ever delivering it.
This industry is this fucked up because of the hype and the pre-orders shit, hardly anyone who pre-order a game will ever bother to complaint for wasting money on something that's not what they were promised or that is broken (and I emphasize the word broken cuz that's the bottom line with most games), people today don't even have any pride or integrity in just saying: "Fuck them, I'll never buy anything else from these guys" and sticking to it, no, they get fucked today and tomorrow they are buying the next piece of shit from the same guys and guess what?, they get fucked again and they deserve it.
But those guys at gearbox should be ashamed of those ridiculous interviews saying this is the next big thing since half-life, either they didn't know what they were talking about or they did and were simply bullshitting everybody, either way they should be accounted for it.

Talking about good old ZX , remember the time waiting your game to load for the first time, watching that beautiful loading screen and then game turn to be total turd ... even back then you should not trust developers Smile

Lol, true that but back then we've evolved almost from casio calculators and didn't have the offer we have today in variety of systems and games...

Duping a C64 tape was hard as hell, I know cuz a friend of mine had one of those, I myself jumped from the zx spectrum to a Commodore Amiga, that fucking thing was way ahead of it's time back then...

The game is so bad that even the NS2 devs are making fun of it:

Quote:
“I’m filled with sadness,” he states. “Sadness at being an Aliens fan and not being able to experience LV-426 like I had imagined I would. Sadness that we spent so much time being afraid of a game that we have beaten on Metacritic by 30 points. With that marketing machine, with that moneypot, with that kind of development time, with that kind of bullet-proof intellectual property, ACM should have been an absolute hit.”

"a game with a launch trailer that probably costs more than 30 percent of the entire development budget of NS2 failed on delivering the Aliens experience sought after from fans".

They would be perfect for the job, and I believe that in that interview they're definitely winking at Sega Razz..something like "see , you should have hired us! Laughing"

The next Aliens game will probably play in the Prometheus universe, at least then they can code dumb AI that does inexplicably stupid things and pass it on as "authentic".

Yeah they're kinda hit 'n miss when it comes to the PC, they're capable of good things (like Binary Domain, which received good support) but also terrible disasters like this one, or the Alpha Protocol drama with no post-launch support at all, and all the infinite DLCs for the Total War saga Razz
