Kinda makes me wonder why I haven't bought a PS3 this gen. Remembered all the great time I had playing MGS series on ps2
Game's kinda short, but it's packed with fun stuff. Slicing cyborgs in blade mode is freaking genious!
It's a 8/10 game.
Yeah 8/10 for sure. It would have been 4-5 hrs more long, it would have been 10/10 for me. BTW how did you get rid of final boss? Did you have any health repair kits?

Nope, all I had was 3 fuel cell kits or w/e they're called. I used Ripper mode + Blade mode to deal most dmg. And mostly it was like - one or two hits and jump the fuck away from him, till I got him to 17HP. After that there will be some QTE's. Just try to remember his attack pattern.
Also try to do most dmg when he goes all green
One of my friend wants to know if he can play this on his LT+ 2.0 firmware base 360S? His current dashboard version is 2.0.13604. I know it requires mandatory update of 2.0.15774. Will updating the dashboard kill the ability to play all the older games too on LT+ 2.0?
Finished my second run, on hard this time, 3h 33min. Easier this time around as i got to keep my upgrades. Unlocked an additional body (red) by completing 5 VR missions, also got a standard cyborg body when i finished the hard playthrough. (The one you play as in mission 1)
For me, Metal Gear just feels out of place on the 360. Glad the PS3 version is the one to get.

any of you guys able to get the 360 version to work? nothing in abgx data base yet, however ive burned the game twice now was able to get it to boot up onces. everytime since "disc unsupported error" LT+3.0, iHas burner with verbat media. im able to install the game and it shows up on dashboard but that's as far as i can go.

Game is really great ,I finally have some time to play it a bit..Platinum is so awesome when it comes to action games , I really want for them to continue this spin off..
Even the real MGS games are short, the cutscenes make them long.
Exactly the feeling I had after completing it. The overall experience feels way longer than those recorded times while you play. Japs are obsessed with time and ratings!
