I quickly checked some of the MP levels via the map command, it's not a big difference from Crysis 2 but it looks alright and it is the MP environment which is optimized for performance, runs at around 55 - 60 frames per second on the levels I tried.

So there isnt any extra effects compared to Beta? What settings you run, does it run better than Beta?

Well I just tested the mp levels quickly due to a lack of time but it looks and performs exactly the same which I kinda expected, had around 50 - 60 FPS there and here most levels perform at the same framerate, likely it drops a bit during heavy action of course.
(As I said earlier the same in-game options are present although there's a few additional console commands and some previously non-functional ones now work properly.)

(And the SP levels likely use more of what the engine provides such as vegetation parallax displacement and such.)

EDIT: If you check the game folder you'll notice there's a shader update from February 13th but otherwise most of the data is dated January 22nd.

A few initial screens Smile some from the tutorial, others from the beginning of the campaign.

The environmental effects look amazing, textures are also very good from the first impressions I get. However, also from the first impressions I'm not sure the game is properly optimized, my gpu usage keeps going between 60-80 %, never goes beyond. Unless this is the first game that actually makes my cpu bottleneck my graphics card Razz

Well they did mention a day-1 patch and the general release is tomorrow so maybe there's something then?
(Though you should also make sure you are using the latest drivers, Nvidia released a 314.xx based one a short while ago and AMD will probably do a update of their 13.2 beta.)

I'm paying for a cheap vpn that has Mexico as option. I don't know which of the free ones has Mexico too.

After using the mexican vpn you just disconnect, pre-load then connect to the Hong-Kong or Korea one and use it to launch the game.

Texture and Shader quality is much better in those screens than Crysis 2 with DX11 patch.

It's the same engine with some updates so it's kinda expected that they look similar, you can see the reflections in that third image and some of the updated weather effects after that.

Well, it's still early but right now the graphics are clearly superior to Crysis 2. even after their DirectX 11 patch.

Now, I'm having a minor annoyance after I added the game to Steam. The overlay isn't properly working and you get stuck in it if you open it, only way out is CTRL-ALT-TAB and killing the process. I can still take screenshots though, which is the main reason I added the game to Steam Razz

I've installed the OpenVPN with incloak settings and I have the game pre-loaded since last Friday.

How do I proceed because connecting to the VPN and starting Origin still gives me the "not released" message ? Smile

Well, that's weird cause I just connected to the Korean vpn, launched Origin after being connected, and the game had the Play option from the game library. I even disconnected from the vpn without closing Origin and it still lets me launch the game as long as you don't restart Origin.
