What kind of a shit PSU do you have then?
ANY non low budget one that has come out in the last 3 years, does atleast have enough for a SLI/X-fire setup...
Hell, i need 4 in total for my crossfire setup..

And both my cards came with 2x 8-pin adapters so Crossfire wasn't an issue even though my PSU only had 2x 8-pin on itself.

Though I have sold my second card already, waste of money pretty much, just haven't updated my signature yet.

Y u no backplate? Looks almost identical compared to 690 reference. Backplate would seriously help on memory temps and OC.

It'd probably have made the cost higher. That's why they cheapened out on that part of the card. They're thinking for their customers. Cool Face

Maybe you'll need to use lube to fill the wallet in the first place... $900 sucka. Devil Troll

Could be a LOT better though, the Kuhler is pretty bad just like every other closed loop is.

yeah its not perfect but the fan died on the cooler on my 6950 and my research led me to this option. My 6950 never goes above 55c now and thats overclocked. But it's really a moot point as i am about to get a 7950. lol

The product is obviously PCI-Express 3.0 ready and has a TDP of around 250W with a typical idle power draw of 15 Watts. That TDP is a maximum, overall and on average your GPU will not consume that amount of power.

Yes, because a 680 doesn't draw more than 195 and a 7970 doesn't draw more than 230/250 (Ref/GE)

I really dont understand the pricing, they already got better card in that price point? Ofc its single GPU but still, SLI is flawless if you just wait driver update to specific game.

That price is just retarded, that's Nvidia attempting to cash in on the title.

It's ok, the 680 and 7970 aren't going anywhere Razz

Been crunching some numbers with a few people, obviously Titan is going to take the single GPU gaming performance crown. The margin by which is highly unlikely to be anywhere near worth that kind of money.

However, interestingly, it may not even be an all around compute win for Nvidia. Looking at GK104's erratic compute performance -consistently slower than GF110 and certainly than Tahiti-, there are some things where it will actually still fail miserably against Tahiti. Kepler is a strange beast Smile

Actually the kuhler 620 is on par with NH-D14, if you just use it properly (properly ventilated case) + 2x 1850rpm gentle. Had one, and it was awesome in my case.

Nice card, but not worth the 1000€ tho.

Also that "review" there was this.

"I want to stress the point that this is a prediction. Furthermore I want to underline, that these estimates are based on a GF Titan which features 1'050 MHz GPU clock and 2'880 Shader Cores. At the moment it looks like the real model is going to feature 850ish MHz GPU clock and 2'688 Shader Cores. Such a card would be 30% slower than what our assumptions are based upon."

And if you put those Gentle Typhoons on the NH-D14 it will wipe the floor with the Kuhler Smile

Actually my H100i wipes the floor with NH-D14... Had SE2011 model, with 2x gentle´s. This H100i wins even on lowest speed. You clearly havent itself tried these closed loops, they also perform better in various cases (reviews are shit, only with stock fans, and some shitty case).
