i have the same problem on my jtag like crysis 2..
the name and logo of the game is gear of war 3 !
However the game is fine !

How is the game?
I totally loved Gears of war1 (especially) and 2 and 3 (really good ending and graphics)
But I had enough. I feel like ratehr replaying the trilogy than this. What is it and how is it ?

You said it's the ISO so what did you use to extract the ISO? Whatever you're using it's probably an outdated version, a bug on the program or the ISO -- giving it a early leak -- might have new layout for the data and the programs can't read it well, thus it doesn't extract the correct info.
Or it could be intentional to hide it on xbl, migt be a tester/beta version and not the retail rls.

i donwload the jaquet with fsd and it is the good jaquet, but the name and the font cover is still gear of war 3.. someone can explain ?

Just rename it with FSD or x360 Content Manager. As long as it shows as GeoW3 in the NXE dash I think FSD will dld the assets for GeoW3.
You can manually change that from the FSD Web UI, and select the game from the game list and edit cover, banner, icon, name...etc.
Or just rename it with Content Manager and upload it again to the hdd.

Exactly my thoughts, the gears trilogy was awesome, but we had 3 games with nearly the same gameplay now. Hard to get too excited for this :/

That's hardly true, the Gears series was always more of the same but better with every iteration. They especially refined the gameplay with every new game in the series, to such an extent that if you go back to GeoW1 from GeoW3 it's painful to watch/play.
That the problem with sequels in general, not this game/series in particular. You like Tomb Raider? Well with the next one you're going to get more of that, so you know what you're getting into, and when you don't, people complain; like with the new Tomb Raider.
Unless you want a complete change of genre I don't know what more they can do to spice things up and change the gameplay. |
Sorry you are right, let me rephrase my remark. Yeah there was a lot of evolution between the titles, and it was great for this trilogy, but ia different story with the same playstyle. Maybe 100 years in the future or something like that. Completely new Weapon set, new enemy threat new vistas and new characters. You can change a lot without changing the genre. I haven't gotten around to play this yet, but I feel like our gears had enough time for their story. And in addition to that, this feels more like a cash-in than a full fledged sequel/prequel. But I hope I'll be proven wrong here

I think its the best one yet. New cool weapons, nice level design, new enemies. I expected so little, so im pleasantly surprised And you have cooler weapons more often, in the other games you spent 80% of the game with the reaper.
The new star system is a nice enough, but I think it should have been way harder getting 3 stars. Looks like you get 1.5 (out of 3) stars just for completing those optional challenges. Iv accepted everyone so far. Examples are you get shitty vision (due to something story related), only certain guns, like reaper and a pistol, enemies are tougher, you regen health slower and so on. The stages are really short, but it doesn't bother me, as its a smooth transition to continue the game, takes 2 sec...
Was about to say I had a blast from beginning to end, but I haven't completed it yet  I wonder how long that aftermath campaign is. Because iv played Judgment campaign for 4 hours and im close to the end.
8.5/10 - YA RLY
