Im watching a stream of this and it looks kinda boring imo, tight closed quarters levels, too much stealthiness and same enemies over and over, since Crysis 2 shooting big armored guys is very lame imo nothing happens to the bodies like pew pew and they go down no damage apparent or dismemberment whatsoever, Ill try it but only at 0$, Looks to me to be all graphics and very generic gameplay

Let me guess @Tr1ples1xer, you mainly play CoD games?
There never can be too much stealth in todays games
Couldn't be more wrong I don't play COD at all, I'm just not to found of stealth and static enemies and no apparent damage, I remember Crysis 1 I had lots of space and a nice tropical setting, this shit seems claustrophobic and no too much stealth is not good, why stealth when you have all those crazy weapons ? In fact since Crysis 1 I think they are trying to go the COD way too much.

Too bad the unlock system is shit and that melee is as bad as COD. I got killed about 75% of the time in beta by melee. Just stupid to make it so powerful, as it was not even a knife or blade. And the unlock system, so archaic and CODerpish. The gameplay itself was not too bad.
went ahead and bought a key from greenmangaming.com for ~35€ and received the code for origin instantly. had to use vpn-tunnel to usa or origin would tell me it can't be played before the 22nd (eu release date, I'm living in germany).
I encountered presumably a bug right in the first mission about 5minutes in, after you're supposed to hack your first terminal/door mechanism through the window. i can successfully hack the terminal with the visor, the door won't open though. tried reloading from last checkpoint but the event wouldn't trigger and psycho (?) keeps waiting in front of the door. guess I'll try to start a new game later tonight to see if the bug keeps reappearing.

So has anyone actually tried moving the "full unlocked" files into origin so we don't have to pre-load all over again? I don't feel like download 15GB all over...
With all the reviews pouring in and those sexy screens I'm about to cave.
yeah, just put the unpacked files in your origin games folder (you can specify the folder for all origin games in the origin settings) with the corresponding folder name, for me it's I:\Games\Origin Games\Crysis 3. origin will recognize the files being there as soon as you press the 'download' button and start installing it. works fine.

NO
WHY: Lovely graphics aside, Crysis 3 is a mostly mediocre shooter in which fancy visuals faintly disguise haphazard design and a lack of technical polish."

The terminal thing is due to re-binding the use (and hack.) key if I understood the posts from MyCrysis.com correctly.

Better then COD...
Who cares about COD ? if you read the review youll see he says its too much LIKE COD actually LOL. Crysis 3 is gonna be a beautiful but booooring game.
PC min and max compared against X360 and PS3, probably the way the footage was taken but the console version looks barely on par with the minimum detail PC version.

Yeah it's close with the 7970 Boost version but the 680 is marginally faster in their results.
(And the 570 and 560 win for the medium and high settings test where slightly older hardware is tried.)

Holy shit. ps3 performance is TERRIBLE. 360 is a bit sharper and looks clearer.

Weaker GPU and less VRAM though the CPU has potential to be faster when utilized properly.
(The "famous" grass joke with Mafia 2 to use a example though exclusives make pretty good use of the PS3 hardware.)
EDIT: Now that AMD is doing both the PS4 and X-Box 3 CPU and GPU (according to rumors) it'll probably be much more evenly matched in the next generation console hardware minus some design differences for each platform.
