Yeah, and W8 boots so insanely fast too, even on slower PCs... I tought it was just because we got fast PCs with SSD HDDs at work, but the OS itself made the bigger difference Wink

I tested it at my own PC, saved a staggering 4 seconds with W8, but it sucked balls so I'm back on W7 again. Besides that, I boot once a day, I'll turn on the PC and get something to drink, no wasted time at all, who cares about boot times on a PC.
But come on, those 4 secs were totally worth the time and hassle that you lost in order to go from Win7 to 8 and vice versa, right? Pffchh

Just ran it on my old Win7 Ultimate install which is full of apps and stuff.

Half of that time was UEFI BIOS post before Windows actually loaded..

Did a second run, no changes:

A complete power reboot in 13 seconds... I can't say I feel it's particularly slow.

Then you're not doing a full power cycle. I might as well set my PC to sleep and "boot" in 2 seconds. Anyway, it doesn't matter.

Doh, I know that. But its the only NON server OS its available on... and its better to have it implemented in a OS you use, rather than to set up a server just to use it, don't you think Wink
