We give our money to banks so they can hold it for us, yet they use our money to invest and make more money (and in the current economy, go broke instead of earning)

But seriously, shit like this happens all the time, ALOT of companies use given money for other shit then purely where it was meant for...
So just because something else went wrong, you suddenly start laughing at him for doing the same that most companies do?

I guess he sees more potential in Duke than Aliens, maybe it works better for today's gaming target audience, mainstream and such.
(Or maybe playing as a actual badass dick is better than playing as a badass marine fighting things that look like dicks, tough question.)

I'm pretty sure it wasn't in their contract with Sega they can use the money for other purposes.
I haven't read a bank "contract" so I don't know if they inform you about possible actions they can do with your money, but chances are they do. If you have read one, maybe you know better.
